Nice view of ocean from room Onsen was simple and easy, it is salt water Futon was comfortable Spacious rooms with tatami mats 2F area good for kids to play Nice lobby kid friendly Friendly staff although rarely saw them Onsen is a little old Pillows too hard Stairs stairs stairs Parking lot was on a hill Maybe can add a slope near the stairs to wheel the luggage Have to borrow dishes and clean them yourself It is very self serving type of place that’s why the price is affordable

The room was spacious, the view was great. I mostly picked the place for the on-site onsen and kitchen. The onsen was only indoors, and pretty small; I expected more from a hotel in an onsen resort town. The kitchen was decent, but not enough counter space and almost nothing was provided without me going down to the shared kitchen to get it anyway.

The place is a bit worn and tired, but it's kept nice and clean.

In this price, I have no one question. It was really good. Large apartment, where is all you need. Corner sea view. Onsen. Tea and coffee facilities (for free). Very friendly and helpful staff.

Inconsiderate, and a bad experience, would not recommend coming here!

I booked this hotel accidently as i was stucked in shirahama because of tsunami warning on 30th July. It is spacious for my family to stay although you needed to carry your luggage to walk around a few steps to access the hotel. There is a supermarket in uphill side. I could bought foods to cook. It really helped my family as we were hungry since not shop opened . the staff aee so friendly.He allowed us to early checkin . Besides, It closes to bus station and beach. It has washing and drying machines. I am sure next time i will stay in this hotel when i come to shirahama. A few steps to access the hotel is major disadvantage for it.

Signs saying that you cannot enter the balcony as if it was super dangerous to do so. You need to rent or buy towels, they won't give you any for free.

We chose the apartment with seaview options. Got the whole apartment with two bedrooms to ourselves. It’s really big and roomy. The apartment has a toilet and sink. It has a kitchen inside the apartment too but no cooking utensils so we used the community kitchen to cook our foods. There is no shower or bath inside the apartment. We used the onsen for that. Love the ocean view. The staff speaks English very well and very helpful. We love the beach across the street. It’s conveniently located near bus station and stores.

For the price, they are really expecting you do a lot....such as take your trash down, etc...also the onsen is a bit old and the a bit nasty...no real interest in staying in for extended time.. the 2BR apartment does not have a shower/bath... it says it in the description, but it is not clear enough. Luckily there is a toilet in the room at least.

Great Location close to the beach. Onsen was good. Place was clean. They provided breakfast which was a nice bonus. We rented the 2 bedroom Apartment which felt relatively large. No towels were provided. You could rent them for an extra ¥200 each so it was ok. The steep stairs up to the hotel might be a concern for some. In some areas the hotel seemed a little old and run down.

Not the fault of the host I guess but the 150Y "bath tax" should be mentioned before the booking.

Lovely hotel staff, perfect location, great traditional Japanese hot spring. Quality-price is great. We need to make Tatami by ourselves and clean it up, there are some spots on the coverlet..But it is OK. If I come here again, I will choose this hotel again..

The reception staff is very friendly The two self-service laundry facilities are used by the hotel itself to wash towels, and at least one should be reserved for guests. Towels are charged, and there is basically no service, regardless of whether you book a dormitory or an apartment. There are green stains on the quilt cover

Great location, great staff, reasonable. We were a little surprised that breakfast was included, but not so surprised when we figured out we had to make it ourselves ? A little far to the parking. But the hotel is on a hill, so it's understandable

Good point Near sea, good cost performances, including breakfast(bread, yogurt, boiled eggs, raw eggs, cheese and coffee. It’s not bad point, but to be better points. I want The staying room has showers room and cooking tools and seasonings.
