Hak Boutique Residence

The room I had was large and spacious. Very well-equipped with a fridge, kettle, strong aircon, hot water, wifi, TV, and garden view balcony. Very comfortable bed. Towels and linen changed at request. Laundry service available. In-house restaurant. Pool is clean, and available for swimming. Secure parking for scooter. The owner Hak, his wife Ming, and family were very pleasant and helpful. The food at hotel was great! Very filling meals at low cost My stay at this hotel was very very enjoyable. I would return there again, no problem. Nothing to complain about. Sometimes wifi a little slow.

Amazing spot, location. Beautiful countryside vibe. Quiet. The garden is fabulous. The room was spacious. The staff very helpful. I enjoyed my stay at Hak Boutique !! I recommend. Nothing, if there is a problem, you simply have to tell your host and he does everything to help :)

For me a great location, wonderful outside pool and garden area,very peaceful and relaxing, Hak and his family were extremely helpful and welcoming, The accommodation was super clean and comfortable, Food from the restaurant was a delicious. I will return I have no complaints

I have been to far more luxurious hotels and far larger hotels, but I have never been to a more welcoming and more considerate hotel. It is ran by Hak and his lovely family who are truly above and beyond any expectations one could have had when it comes to running a hotel. Hak will help you get medicines if you are sick, help you with paperwork to extend your visa, make food for you even outside of the regular meal hours, and will effectively do whatever you ask of him as long as it is reasonable. The hotel has a lovely assortment of animals to brighten up the place, a comfortable pool, varied options for relaxation, and many offers if you want to experience what Siem Reap has to offer. Hak will arrange it all if you let him. Most who stay here stay for short periods of time, but I have had the splendid experience of staying here for a month. Hell there is a small public kitchen to use if you are financially a savvy traveler and the hotel restaurant is less expensive than most places you will eat at outside of the hotel. This is only an issue if you are a little indoor gremlin like me and my spouse, or if you need to work. The internet is sadly not the most reliable thing here, but as most guests are not going to be on their computers so this is a negliable issue at best. Also there are going to be flying bugs about due to it being tropical....which is just a fact of life but Hak and co will help if you find this troublesome. So all in all I don't really have any issues with my stay at this hotel at all.

Nice place to stay. Beautyful garden with a fantastic pool. Good food for dinner. Hak is very help full to arrange bicycle, scooter and day trips. No local breakfast.

The location was excellent, far enough from the main areas to be peaceful but a nice walk or short tuk tuk ride away. The property was amazing, Hak was the perfect host, very attentive and always working hard to tidy the pool area from the falling leaves. The breakfast was well prepared and substantial, as was all the food at other meals. Above all though, I was unfortunate to have an accident on the first night, resulting in a nasty head wound. Despite it being after midnight, Hak came to my assistance immediately to help with initial first aid. The next morning he took me to the local clinic where I had my wound stitched, Hak was there the whole time to translate. He kept checking on my welfare throughout my stay and went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. I would definitely recommend this lovely accommodation, and would like to thank Hak and his family and staff for everything. There was nothing I didn't like apart from leaving.

It is located at a 7 minute tuktuk drive from the city center so it’s very quiet . Good value for money. We had a person from the hotel driving us everywhere, he was very nice too.

Quiet spot, relaxing pool and garden The family room bathroom was not very private and very small. There was not enough hot water for us (5) to have with our shower. The breakfast menu was small.

It is a wonderful homestay style hotel. Hak is incredible and always available to help in any way. He has created an incredibly friendly and relaxed atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is fairly basic and a bit out of town but that is actually part of the attraction. Some people may find it a little far from town.

The balcony overlooking the garden is large and beautiful. Everything works without problems. The cleanliness is good. It is great to have a water dispenser in the lobby. You always have water. The breakfast is good and enough. The hotel is in a quiet area a little outside the city center.I think it is good that it is quiet and calm. It is very easy to find a taxi to go to the city center. It is about 1 dollar with the local application. There were no tulle curtains in the room I stayed in, which made the room a bit dark. I think tulle curtains could be put in. But the sun curtain is thick and good.

The place is hidden away from the buzzing town which was super. Since it is hot here at the moment you have to take a tuk tuk anyways. Hak helped us with this service and we had the nicest driver ever. The pool is amazing. The ceiling area of the bathroom needs a bit of cleaning as there were many mosquitoes and flies.

Superb

Staff reception really great friendly and available. Garden and pool are nice, interesting, with many plants and flowers. The rooms are very large. The rooms are large and have a big potential to get a great design. Should continue to think about the decoration in the room (fotos about Cambodia history are very interesting nice). The family room could have plant on terrasse or living room, , interior design should be more balance and completed, etc... it could update value of the hotel a lot. :)

Lovely family run hotel with an attractive pool area, the Staff were very helpful, set in an out of town quiet area 10 min ride away from the centre. We could have spent much longer here. Breakfast selection was restricted eg only one coffee or orange juice was included. lots of mosquitos bring repellant (there was an indoor fish pond in front of our room entrance with still water which didn't help the issue)
