Here we were asked for a credit card for guarantee and when we did not give it, we were asked to keep a 100 US dollar note as guarantee. Were we thieves in the eyes of the hotel when we had already booked a room from booking.com for a two-day stay there and the payment had already been taken from us.

Great location and near to pup street and local shopping. You need take Tok Tok which cost you $3.00 = 12000.00រ real. The AC control unit was not working, can you imagine the 90 degree temperature.

Love the Temples the city and the giant Ferris wheel . The only you alcohol on with Aircom too. Must see in town holding mine sniff rats , war museum , lots off old cold Russian tanks and guns,also heavy load helicopter and killer field museum.

Spotless. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant with comprehensive menu and extensive choice at breakfast. Very helpful, respectful, efficient staff - nothing was too much trouble. We hired a private driver which enhanced our overall experience of Siem Reap immensely. Unfortunately the view from our room was of a rubbish site - staff advised there was a night market there but it had been cleared because of the noise late into the night, so maybe preferable as we found it. We only got to the pool late afternoon when it was in full shade. Could t really walk anywhere from the hotel because of traffic and lack of pavement, but easy enough to get a tuk tuk or taxi.

Great relaxing hotel, staff were all very efficient and friendly. The TV had limited channels and bad picture quality. But we didn't go on vacation to look at the TV, so it was no big deal.

Beautiful pool that had just the right temperatures, and very good poolside amenities. Clearly a very favorable aspect off this hotel. The guest rooms are large (also the high-ceilinged public areas) and well-appointed; the built in clothes line over the large bathtub (and excellent combo shower) was very welcome and the seating area with small table (besides the desk with chair) a definite plus. Altogether we had everything we needed here, and the large staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. (We stayed here for 3 days as part of a group, and had added one day ourselves, and were glad we did! The hotel attracts a large number of tour groups (like ours, a US-Canadian "Road Scholars" educational tour group), most probably coming to see the nearby Angkor Wat complexes. Esp. the groups of Australians (not, interestingly, the Americans!) really seemed to "hog" the pool area for long periods, while loudly complaining to each other about not getting their accustomed home food (whereby the local food served was fresh, copious, and varied, with emphasis on fish, chicken, fruit and vegetables). Worse, a tour party from another country arrived rather late one evening and went to the rooms chattering loudly as they gathered on the guest floors near the elevators and down the halls. Mgt. probably can do nothing about the "boors" from Australia, but could encourage late-arriving groups to maintain quiet out of consideration for other guests. The only other issue we had is that the window (which looked onto the mainroad over a narrow balcony) was locked (with a sign asserting that policy). We'd have liked to open it occasionally and actually wished we had asked for that service. but did not.
