Viroth's Hotel

Rare for a place to be this effortless. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and attentive in a way that never felt performative. Every request was anticipated, every detail considered. It's the kind of hospitality you notice because it's so consistent, not because any single gesture stands out. The property itself pulls off something hard: real style paired with real substance. Nothing felt like it was there just to look good in photos. And the location is genuinely unbeatable: close enough to walk into town for markets, temples, and dinner, yet the second you're back through the gate it's completely peaceful. That contrast, tranquil oasis one moment, easy access to everything the next, is what made it feel so special. Add in the value for what you get, and I honestly can't picture staying anywhere else in Siem Reap. Can't recommend it enough. I can't even fathom that someone would write something here...

This was our fifth visit to the Viroth and we took friends along with us - so they could experience the excellent overall quality that we have experienced all the times we have been there. Once again, it didn't disappoint one little bit. You just have to experience it to understand the high standards they strive to maintain - again and again. Cleanliness and friendliness are the key focus - along with exceptional value for money. You are made to feel like nothing at all is any trouble - and they have the knack (skill) of knowing what your needs are - before you know yourself!!! The cold towels every time you come back from being out and about - the "mandatory" mosquito spray before setting out for your evening stroll(s) - along with a refreshing drink - all add up to make the experience unique and FANTASTIC. Whoever is responsible for recruiting and training the staff are spot on - and are to be congratulated. Onto the food - we always go and visit our favourite restaurants and bars - but on each occasion we end up having some of our best meals at the hotel. A special mention to the Fish Amok dish - WOW!!! Don't miss out on trying that. The breakfast has gone to another level since our last stay. In addition to the ala carte menu - there is now a selection of items from a buffet. Plenty of yummy options to choose from - all cooked to perfection. Another tip? Don't miss out on the mango and passionfruit jam - out of this world!!! A special mention to the ever smiling Ra - him as well as his team were just fantastic... If I could give this hotel a rating of 11 out of 10 - I would - you will not be disappointed one little bit staying here!! By the way - the friends we took with us (their first stay) - now understand our love of the hotel and its staff - and haven't stopped raving. We are already looking when we can book our next break - at our home away from home. Absolutely nothing....

Just like the pictures or better, sukha and the rest of the staff is just top notch. Best recommendation and had everything arranged for me to make everything perfect. Can’t thank enough. Nothing that I didn’t like, loved everything, just didn’t try the spa.

Breakfast was delicious. Pool was clean and relaxing. Room was comfortable and quiet and spacious. Staff was able to arrange three days or private tours and they were spectacular. Guide and drivers were wonderful. Loved that they applied insect repellent when we left hotel. Spa service was the best throughout SE Asia. The Khamer massage was recommended and did not disappoint. It was really the best. Nothing. Liked Everything!

The ambience and the food were all excellent. The room was large and nicely decorated. There is nothing that I did not like.

Gorgeous property with the nicest, most welcoming staff. They really look after you from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is pristine, and the breakfasts could not have been better. We enjoyed many spa services - massages, facials and body scrubs. All wonderful! Everything was great. Gym is small but sufficient.

Just loved this hotel,located centrally close to all the restaurants bars and the markets. One of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in Cambodia. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. ?recommend All was to expectation

This hotel is very luxurious, definitely our favorite accommodation in the month we spent traveling through SE Asia. The bed was the most comfortable by far. The salt water pool was the perfect temperature, and we loved ordering lunch and drinks poolside. The food at the restaurant was excellent- we ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and never had a bad meal. The cocktails were also fantastic. The staff was exceptional, going above and beyond for us. Very accommodating, even provided us with a packed 5 course breakfast for our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. Especially loved that they offer to spray you with mosquito repellent when you leave the hotel at night. This hotel is rated 9.9/10 for a reason!

Great location. Amazing staff! Exceptional facilities. Was such a great stay! Lack of elevator was not a deal breaker but was a bit of a challenge when needing to move the luggage. Fortunately the front staff assisted us with this!

Everything! Location (central but quiet, felt like a getaway), gorgeous design (artwork and abundant landscaping), perfect pool, incredible food, and ultra-attentive staff…. Paradise!
