Viroth's Villa

Even though I arrived late after 8 pm, they arranged my trip to Angkor Wat for the next morning, prepared a breakfast to take with me to the site and even provided mosquito repellent :) I caught the sunrise at Angkor Wat that morning. The TukTuk driver they arranged helped me to visit every single site in the area for three days. They prepared a takeaway coffee and pastry for me every morning. I was exhausted and spent a full day in my room to rest after three-days of non-stop site discovering. The room and ambience of the hotel served for this very well, and I'd already pull up my all energy by the evening :) I saw, many people complained about the alacart menu for the breakfast; but I found it well, especially for food safety. Siem Reap, especially in March and April, is very very hot and humid. You wouldn't want a buffet stain in the heat. Also, an open buffet would kill the ambience as well. The eating area is next to the pool and very cozy. No one needs that cold resort kind of atmosphere. In addition, I found their approach more environmental friendly, not wasteful and more sustainable. Whatever you order is served fresh. Everything! This hotel is without doubt one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. And not sure I will ever find another hotel as stunningly beautiful. The location is excellent The staff are exceptional. I would like to thank every single staff member from the person on the door who gave you wet towels when you come back and mosquito spray when you leave the hotel in the evening. To the concierge who remembered all of our names (we are a party of six) To the bar staff who served us amazing drinks and a beautiful breakfast To the staff who clean the room which was immaculate and tidied our clothes. To the gardeners who kept the pool area clean and plants beautifully well kept. A truly magical experience There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel would recommend staying

The bed

The staff were amazing from the door person to reception to the restaurant/bar. We were treated so well for 3 days! The location was perfect- 5 min walk to main area but yet quiet and away from the noise of the main streets. Breakfast was very good and the cocktails were excellent! This hotel has great ambiance!

We loved this hotel! It’s modern, clean and in a great location - close to everything but still quiet. The breakfast each morning was good (skip the evening menu, there’s plenty of amazing restaurants around for better value) and the pool was lovely. Since there are so few rooms in the hotel the pool was never too busy. We also made use of the Spa and each got a wonderful massage. The room was bright and spacious - we were upgraded on arrival which was greatly appreciated, leaving us with a great view of the pool. We used their airport collection service where the driver was waiting with water and cold towels. All of the staff were fantastic, every single person we interacted with was so pleasant and we were greeted each time we returned with the offer of a cold towel. While there was nothing we disliked a better TV system would have been appreciated in the room. The TV was quite small and only had a small selection of channels ( no smart tv)

Everything! Hotel is beautiful, quiet and impeccably designed. The staff was fabulous and gracious. I liked everything at this property no complaints whatsoever.

Spotlessly clean, everything worked, fast wifi with strong signal, great attention to detail. Location could not have been better. Superb management team, well-trained staff most of whom spoke very clear English, everyone very FRIENDLY and also helpful. Very good bed with fresh linens, bedside tables with reading lamps on both sides, excellent shower with hot water, enclosed wc/toilet with door. Good lighting and AC unit with remote control located above door so it did not blow directly on the bed. Situated on a relatively quiet side street only half a block from the river, central, desirable location for foreigners in Siem Reap. Peaceful ambience, wonderful clean swimming pool was large enough to swim short laps, fabulous breakfast with lots of choices, including eggs, bacon, sausage if you wished cooked to order each day, fresh fruit, toast with real butter, croissants, fried noodles or noodle soup, etc. Comfortable lounge area, good bartenders with nice happy hour wtih buy one get a second one for free each evening. International cable TV available including CNN, BBC Asia, CNBC, DW in English. Front desk very helpful in arranging transportation and hiring tour guide with printed out information on prices for various tours and transportation services. A few members of the staff were occasionally difficult to understand due to challenges with pronunciation.

Everything especialy the crew was great. Room was huge and very comfortable.

Breakfast was an à la carte buffet, meaning we could order as many dishes as we liked — and our son happily sampled them all, several times in one meal! The packed breakfast prepared for our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat was exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every way. Viroth’s Villa felt more intimate than the main hotel, tucked away on a quiet street yet just minutes from everything. The staff were wonderfully warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful. The only — and I really do mean only — minor drawback was the cost of the airport transfer arranged through the hotel. We paid $75 for the trip from SAI to the hotel, whereas the return trip to SAI, booked via Booking.com’s taxi service, cost just $28. That said, our stay was so wonderful overall that I mention this purely for the hotel’s consideration — we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

The staff was incredible! Very accommodating, always available, and just really went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable here They did manage to arrange for my wife to use the swimming pool and the fitness center at their sister hotel. One evening, I let the staff know there was no toilet paper in the public bathroom – and the next morning there still wasn’t any. Viroths hotel, the sister facility, has the fitness center, and probably a nicer pool

The place is located pretty central. Surrounded by greenery and has a mini pool. We were picked up from the bus station in a vintage car - a good gesture which was highly appreciated. One issue we had was with the insects inside the room. On one of the days, we were surprised to see the bed occupied by a giant lizard. The hotel staff helped to remove the lizard, but were annoyed when we asked them to change the sheets.

Great location, staff were amazing and so accommodating! Building work going on next to the property and it was very loud at times. The staff were very supportive and tried to accommodate where possible.
