The Elephant

The staff treat all their guests like VIP. They were very helpful. The restaurant is quite nice with good food options. Our room was very relaxing. Like most places, needs more hooks or shelves to store your belongs and dry towels and swimsuits etc.

We had a wonderful stay at The Elephant, Siem Reap. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with excellent facilities and a very good breakfast. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. A heartfelt thank you to Nita, Lisa, Leah, Hongsean, Rachat, and Hotel Manager Vi for your warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Definitely recommend The Elephant and would gladly stay here again. all good

The staff are all very nice. The room, bathroom and balcony were all a good size. The bed was comfortable. The a la carte breakfasts were nice. It was fairly quiet and the pool is a decent size and has a pleasant area around. There is a free tuk tuk into town between 6 and 9 pm. I liked the casual restaurant near the hotel. It's a 10-minute walk to the main part of town mostly without pavements. The road isn't busy and you mostly walk through a street market, which was interesting during the day. The tuk tuk back in the evenings was only 5 or 6 USD. The air conditioning in my room was a bit noisy for sleeping, but I got used to it.

Beautiful property with wonderful staff and genuinely excellent amenities. The pool was fantastic, the food was great, and I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea and the in-room massage service. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout my stay. There was initially some confusion regarding American Express acceptance, but the staff went above and beyond to resolve it before checkout, which I greatly appreciated. I wasn't able to stay longer.

The installations, the pool, the restaurant, the staff, the staff, the staff... Special commendations to NITA and Sarain. These two ladies alone would make anyone want to come back! They're the perfect hostesses. KUDOS ladies!!! Us not being able to stay longer. The weather could have been 40-50 degrees cooler (LOL). Everything else was perfect. Regretted having to leave.

The water in the shower had a funny smell that made me very uncomfortable.

We loved our stay here, the service from the staff was amazing and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location and having the tuk tuks outside in the evenings made transportation very convenient. We loved all the genuine smiles and greetings that we received everyday and appreciated all the hospitality!

From the moment I arrived I was treated exceptionally well by ALL the staff. I was given a welcome drink and fruits. Check in was a breeze. The room I had was large with a tub on the balcony. The hotel is located right by Angkor High School. There are free tuk tuk rides to Pub Street from 6 - 9 pm. Breakfast is great. All baked products are made by the hotel. The hotel is GREAT, but the staff really are what did it for me. Even the manager introduced himself. I was sad to leave them, but I'll be back. Also, if you are going anywhere ask for Mr Kann. He's right outside with his tuk tuk. What a wonderful human being. I'm from Jamaica and these people had to wanting to leave my homeland. Just exceptional people.

Recommended. Exceptionall personnel, very polite and always willing to help. The swimming pool is very nice to spent time after coming back from visiting Angkor Wat archeological area. A complementary Tuk Tuk ride to the centre of Siem Reap is offered by the hotel at the afternoon which is a very nice offering. Breakfast is offered as a selection of different plates, a buffet would have been preferable on my opinion. There was no low setting for the air-conditioning in the room - only maximum..

The location was great as it was walkable to the river and hustle and bustle but tucked away in a quieter spot. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the spa was fabulous. The room was perfect with all of the amenities and tons of space.

Pictures on the web did not match the hotel in real life. Very old, needs serious updating. Apparently the pictures are from a different hotel which I could not say. This is false advertising and I want to be honest about my experience. The bed had been slept in, ended up asking for a refund and left to go to another hotel.

A great place close to the city center. The staffs are so understanding and supportive - They helped us everything we placed as a request. Always there to help you and have a pleasant smile all the time. The rooms are neat and spacious. Nothing at all.

Excellent food; huge, clean room with very comfortable bed and pillows, staff were so friendly, pool was very refreshing and relaxing after a hot day exploring the sites, very convenient location, brilliant tuk tuk drivers (thanks Mr Lay)

Location is great… nice and quiet. The staff are exceptionally customer focused. Free transportation to pub street whenever you want! The shower tends to soak the entire bathroom floor. Need to provide a squeegee

It's our second time in this hotel, everything was amazing, the honeymoon suite is the best, and the staff is absolutely lovely! Highly recommended!
