Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring

The staff was lovely. We enjoyed a few laughs together. The facility was nice and the restaurant was welcome. However, there was no waste basket in the bathroom and a leak in the bathroom faucet attachment. Annoying to deal with this on a busy family gathering weekend. For the latter, I wrapped a wash cloth around the faucet bottom which saved us from a mess.

We've stayed several times, we enjoy the location and hotel in general.

Pool was dirty but everything else was amazing. Staff was too notch and the room was fantastic. Great location!!!

Nice location

This is our preferred family place for our annual family DC trip. We like the parking in the back, the spacious lobby, and its proximity to different eateries. It's a comfortable stay. The only disappointment was in our recent trip there were no movies available - you have to have your own service or pay additional.

Check in was easy and we were able to check in early. The staff were helpful. One downside was the Bar closed at 9PM on a Saturday.

The room was very clean. The only issue was with the room temperature. The room was a little “stuffy”. We lowered the thermostat but the room temperature never changed.

The location was good. There was mold in grout in bathroom, didn’t replace coffee or water daily

Do not stay here if you value safety or sleep. Our room was right next to a raucous hallway party that went on all night. People were gathering directly outside our door with their room door wide open, blasting heavy bass music and shouting. This is a massive safety and privacy violation. When we called the front desk for help, they did absolutely nothing. We were forced to go downstairs in person, exhausted, to demand a room change before we finally got some peace. The staff's attitude was dismissive. Unacceptable for a DoubleTree.
