We liked everything about our stay! Our room was very clean, well equiped and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help.

Located in a quiet street just off the centre of Skala. Run by a family who were always very friendly and helpful. Beautifully finished apartment, modern bathroom with lovely walk in shower. Large balcony overlooking the pool of the hotel across the road. We eat at the Socrates restaurant below 4 times which was excellent each time. N/A

This was our second time staying at Socrates. The extra space of the triple room was great and came well equipped with an iron, drying line, hairdryer, fridge and safe. AC was effective and easy to use. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming too! Couldn’t late checkout as they were fully booked this year, but they allowed us to keep our luggage inside the restaurant until we had to leave. We will be back! I’m not a big fan of the open style showers found in this property and many similar properties these days. Water pressure was also quite low to the bathroom tap only.

Location is very good, a couple of mins walk to main restaurants and bars, but above a quiet taverna which although is open in the evenings, was never noisy. Great balcony area with a little table and 2 chairs as well as a line you can hang your wet swimwear on. Opposite a small apartment block with a good sized swimming pool that you can use. The owner Dimitri is lovely - really informative and kind. Rooms cleaned every day with towels being replaced very frequently. Plenty of local street parking and free car parking areas. Socrates taverna is a great option for eating at which we did a couple of nights during our stay. There was a fridge and a coffee machine provided, there were only 2 cups, 2 glasses 1 bowl and 2 teaspoons There were only 4 coffee pods supplied at the beginning of the stay and these were never replenished. No plates or further cutlery were provided. The room was lovely, we like to buy in fruit and yogurt for our breakfasts (Socrates restaurant doesn't open until evening) so it would have been nice to have a few more facilities so that we could have eaten breakfast out on the lovely balcony.

Location and cleaning lady Elena. She cleaned every day perfectly. Room is just above the owner's restaurant and kitchen. At the floor you can feel like it is floar heating. There is air conditioner, but ot gora slow, and directly to the guests head, so you need to shut it down while sleeping. In the room is really really hot. There are no mosquito net in the room. We payed taxes by booking, owner asked us to pay it again, it is true that we forgot to check if we did pay it by booking. We beileve it was his mistake as well, he looks like a good man. Wi fi did not work last 3 days, at all. There is no cable tv, we just needed greek chanels, not world chanels, to watch europe championship.

Accommodation is excellent, extremely clean & modern.Owners very caring & thoughtful. Will book again. Bedlinen & towels of a very good standard & regularly changed. Water in fridge on arrival always a bonus. All facilities are as stated in advertisement & of a good quality. Very close to a supermarket & excellent bakery. Beach within walking distance. Just a suggestion a slightly lower mirror for when sat down drying hair.

This is a family run business with a restaurant underneath. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, air conditioned and very clean. It also had a large shower room and balcony with table and chairs. It surpassed our expectations and Socrates, Dimitri and Elemis were exceptional hosts. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. Very well located, close to all amenities.

Eleni Socrates and Dimitri were very welcoming when we arrived late due to flight delay and they kept the restaurant open. Room was prepared for us beautifully. The apartment had fridge kettle, coffee machine hair dryer and iron. The style and design of the apartment was high quality, stylish and well designed, great lighting well placed plug sockets and lovely modern tiled bathroom with good sized walk in shower. Recently refurbished. We had second floor apartment which had afternoon sun. The apartment was serviced every day. Very clean. Great location 2 mins from shops and bars and 5 mins from sea. We will return. Loved it Incidentally The cooking at the restaurant attached is really good. we tried all the vegetarian dishes which were excellent. Minimal Storage - a Hanging rail for clothes though no drawers however this did make the room look clean and spacious

Modern decor, recent refurb. Excellent location perfect for 2/3 night stay. Good quality big comfy bed. Just one downside, apart from a hanging rail there are no facilities to store belongings or clothes. No shelving to put toiletries in bathroom. Just minor stuff, we really enjoyed our stay :-)

We heard they had renovated the appartments and were extremely impressed with the work carried out. We knew the staff from previous visits so it was nice to see them again. 10/10 for our stay The only thing I didn't like was having to leave

Modern room, comfortable bed with a lovely power shower. Aircon very good and plenty of space. Nothing.

It was clean with a nice location and friendly staff. Free parkint was also available nearby. We had issues with the wifi connection, it was breaking up all the time. We were accomodated at the last floor and it was hot (hotter than the outside temperature), but AC was working and it helped a lot.
