La Tudanca

I like the design, it’s an old mason turned to the hotel. It has plenty of interesting details and art pieces insight. Who ever decorated did a great job. Very cozy and atmospheric. Rooms are a good size, with specious bathrooms and beautiful views. Nieves is incredibly welcoming host. It felt like home there ❤️

It's a lovely Spanish old house: there are dining rooms, kitchen and family room on the ground floor. The bedrooms are upstairs on the first and second floor (a suite with its own kitchen). There's no elevator but the stairs are wide and not steep at all. Someone helped us with the luggage upon arrival:) The house itself is spacious - not economical or tight, a real old house for non restricted living. We found that the owners are fluent in English which was great as we were able to get many useful suggestions, interesting stories and advice about where to go. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast served by the owner's son who is a chef. Twice we had dinner which we were asked to order in advance. All were superb. We didn't find the parking situation difficult but we were the only guests at this time of the year. We parked inside the garden and on the street the other day.

Very cozy and welcoming hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Clean spacious rooms, equipped with all necessary. Polite, helpful, and friendly staff. Good and tasty breakfasts. Very good location.

Beautifully decorated country home. We had a good night’s sleep, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Dinner was delicious. Katy and Ricardo were wonderful hosts, and the cook, whose name I didn’t get, was so charming. If you like dogs, as I do, you will love the company of Blanca and Tanna as you stroll around the property. The bathroom could be better. It’s not terrible, everything works and it was clean. But if there was one thing that could be improved it would be this.

An original period property maintained beautifully and decorated with taste making it warm and welcoming. Lovely gardens and off street parking.

Beautiful off the beaten track location whilst being within 20mins drive of Santander. Totally unexpected and absolutely lovely location, property and owners. Fantastic history and great food. We will be back…..

Comfortable and cozy appartment in old building with nice territory. We used this accommodation for one night as it is not far from airport but definetally would recommend also it for vacation in Santander as it is some 20min drive away. Not expected, additionally to our two bedrooms we had an small kitchenette and cozy living room. The whole house is nicely renovated, the territory is large and green. There is an interesting dinner option offered that we unfortunately didn't use. The host welcoming and really helpful. The house, rooms (apartment) and our short stay as whole exceeded our expectations. The bathrooms are nor really comfortable and good usable. Otherwise, really nothing was missing for our short stay.

Superb location, wonderful garden, tastefully decorated interiors, large, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast, homemade sweets! Nothing!

Our whole stay was exceptional because of the care and attention of the amazing family owners,who helped planned our whole trip . They made sure we had a great experience in there lovely charming home where we will definitely return. We also enjoyed some amazing food cooked by Rickardo. I can honestly say that Katy and Rickardo have to be the nicest hosts we have ever met. If you are considering visiting this area we highly recommend you stay at this beautiful house. An old, traditional Spanish house, tastefully refurbished but retaining original features. It was just like being a private guest in someone’s home. The proprietors made us feel very welcome and the food (cooked to order) was amazing. Situated just off the E70, with easy access to Santander, Bilbao and Oviedo or as a stopover en route to Portugal. Nothing - it was absolutely delightful.

The interior is beautiful. The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. everything was perfect.

The location has character and style! The host was very welcoming, and we had a very nice dinner and breakfast in the garden. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but this all fits in the concept of a grand villa.

We loved the great hospitality and the personal service they provide to each guest. Excellent cuisine. Very cozy and familiar house. There is no AC but we learned this is a common thing in Cantabria.

This was a lovely villa with a large lounge and outdoor area to relax in. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable with a lovely view of the gardens and mountains beyond. The breakfast was delicious with a hot breakfast cooked to order. The chef also cooked a superb dinner for us. It was so good, we ate at La Tudunca all 3 nights. We can’t recommend this lovely B&B highly enough! Nothing!
