Hotel Via Serdika

Spacious room with comfy bed and a good view from the balcony. The staff was friendly. The breakfast selection was not very large, but it had all the usual essentials. The jacuzzi was leaking, the jets were dirty and when we turned them on, some grime came out into the water...

This is a wonderful hotel, with a real sense of generosity in every detail. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our room was. The breakfast was rich,and varied, The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Because our flight was moved to an earlier time, we arrived exhausted several hours before check-in. The hotel staff invited us to relax in their comfortable lobby and did everything they could to prepare our room as early as possible. We were able to check in several hours before the official check-in time, and they didn't even charge us for the early check-in. We would happily stay here again and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

New hotel with modern facilities and very comfortable beds. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure. A lovely surprise was that when we checked out at 4:00 a.m., the staff prepared breakfast boxes for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect start to an early journey. Great service and a very pleasant stay. 30 min walking to the center, 15 min by car from the airport. Parking lot is available for 10 euro.

Nice clean and quiet hotel. Reasonable price for the capital city. Good breakfast. 18-20 minute walk to ruins and Sophia Church. The air conditioner wasn't working well and the pillows were hard.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The TV, though, did not work well. I reported that to the receptionist, and they promised they would take care of it. Breakfast did not have many fresh options (fresh fruits and juices).

Staff was incredibly helpful. The room was large and clean. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good Neighborhood is a bit run down.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We liked the woman who took care of breakfast!The room was very clean and comfortable. Luckily the street was quiet at night because our room faced it ( no view). Breakfast got us out the door and the room has a kettle for early tea or coffee. It’s a quick walk to the action and staff will call a honest cab for you if you want. Very good for a fair price. Toaster at breakfast to warm up bread.

Great breakfast with lots of choices both sweet and savory. Not the most convenient area to walk to the center but near a couple of bus stops. Nice room and bathroom with nice toiletries, just missing the shower cap unfortunately. It was the longest and slowest check-in I ever experienced. They must have messed up some room overbooking/upgrades and there was a party of 7 in front of us, who required the attention of the counter girl and the manager at once, debating which rooms to choose for the longest time holding us back. Side note: we had showed up and dropped off luggage at 10.30 in the morning since the room was going to be available at 2 pm as per hotel policy. When we finally were able to check in it was well past 3pm. Only to go upstairs and find out they hadn’t even started cleaning our room.

It’s gorgeous new hotel with very friendly staff. The location is near to center of town. Whole neighborhood is nice and quiet with plenty nice restaurants. High recommended Everything was perfect without any sigle complaint

It's too expensive for the location & services offered. It's can't be classified as a 4-star hotel. As starters, you only get complimentary water for day 1, the location is opposite to mechanics and car technicians. If you open your window, your room will immediately start to smell like cars. The location is not in the city center, it's half an hour away. Rooms are fine but mattresses are not comfortable. Again it's too expensive.

Nice rooms and a good price, clean and friendly enough staff as well as a solid breakfast Location is central, but a little sketchy, not unsafe per se but doesn’t feel nice walking at night, very dirty as well. Not a big problem because safety didn’t seem to be an issue
