No complaints about this hotel, I will book it again in the future. Nice rooms (business room and the apartment booked both) nothing bad to say

Nice employees at the reception. Excellent restaurant upstairs with a great menu get price, and accommodating and pleasant restaurant employees. The worst was the hotel maintenance man who appeared twice in our hallway on the fourth floor and was yelling at a co-worker. I was having an afternoon nap and for two consecutive days, I had to leave my room and ask him politely to stop yelling so I could try and sleep. The second day, once again he was outside my room yelling so I reluctantly came out and he looked so angry when I asked him to keep his voice down in the hallway…again! Scary! Also very slow, low internet speed and an insecure internet system open to all, no password required! combined with a mouldy smell in the bathroom because there’s no working fan, breakfast was below average (scrambled eggs watery and cold, uggh why serve that at all?) …a few key managers could try a little harder and this hotel would be greatly improved!!!

I liked how it was decorated, there is a lot of wood, nice paintings. The room was very spacious. Nothing. Could be slightly closer to the main historical center, on the other hand it is also not far, like an 8 min walk to St Nedelya and Vitosha Blvd.

I enjoyed the gym and the art seen all over the hotel. AC was weak.

Spacious Junior Suite: The room size was excellent and provided plenty of space for us. Location: walking distance to Vitosha Boulevard and the Mall of Sofia. Helpful Reception Team Disappointing Breakfast: For a 5-star hotel, the breakfast was a major letdown. It was not luxurious at all; food items were frequently missing and often served cold. Unwelcoming Staff & Rigid Rules: The breakfast staff was not welcoming. Despite many guests still eating and others waiting for food to be replenished, they turned off the coffee and beverage machines at 10:00 AM sharp without a word. In a true 5-star hotel, you expect hospitality and flexibility, not to be cut off while mid-meal. Maintenance Issues: Our suite had several flaws that should not exist in this category. The hot tub in the bathroom did not work at all, and the living room was uncomfortably cold throughout our stay.

In what world is this 5 star?

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

We had a suite on the 5th floor and it was amazing! We had a living room and a terrace! The hotel is full of artwork everywhere and very beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to help us find a lost cell phone (thankfully found)! The breakfast was good but the coffee was crappy (just instant from a machine) and there was no fresh orange juice. The gym was complete but tiny and many outside customers were there so sometimes we had to wait for machines. Also, the small pool had outside classes so we ended up never using it. The hotel was gorgeous but a little bit run down.

    The location

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

Unusual layout for my taste but I appreciated the creativity

there was one woman that was helpful and upgraded us because there was a really bad noise in the room but the other day there was another woman in the reception she wasn’t really respectful but this is a really good hotel cause the other hotels either it’s really bad or really expensive

Kitchen without dishes, only two glasses and two cups. Very old Samsung smart TV & and laptop, both have 10+ years. Since every TV channel has Bulgarian voiceover you can’t watch anything else if you don’t have your laptop because this one in the room is not usable. Property parking is to small, we left the parking in the early morning, and came back around 12h, there was no free parking place, and some guy who is working there on my question “Where should i park my car?” told me that i came to early, i should stay out more, after 14h i can maybe find free place, and now i can go to find parking near the hotel in some streets around.

Noise in the room from ventilation

The staff at the reception desk were very nice and helpful. We were upgraded to 2 apartments instead of 2 double rooms, so it was very spacious. Breakfast is OK. A nice variety, but ... But... see below in what we did not like. The room was sparkling clean. The location is good in terms of being close to metro, tram and bus lines, as well ad to the city center. But... see below in what we did not like. The decor is absolutely ugly. Both the room and the public areas. It's dark, outdated (without any "old fashioned" charm) and too crowded with "heavy" art. It overwhelms you – and not in a good sense. Breakfast ... you get the feeling that it's not the best quality products. They have a coffee machine, but they ration you to one capsule per person for the duration of the stay. The room had a slight odor of cigarettes. The door to the balcony had a broken handle and could not be opened to get some fresh air in. No Extra towel for the swimming pool - you have to use the single one supplied in the room. Location - the street is unpleasant (well – as most of the city is – gray, dilapidated, unkempt).

It is one of my favorites locations to stay in Sofia. Location is good, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast offers for every taste. And the paintings and sculptures bring special feeling of being part of something extraordinary.

Very large spacious clean room with lovely views from the terraces. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good. The hotel is in good location, central and direct metro to the airport. The pool was nice and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good.
