St George Hotel

I liked my first stay, came back a week after and they put me in a different room that was not ok. Staff is great. The room was old, dark, no sofa, the shower was clogged and dirty and the duvet cover ripped. Both rooms were studios but completely different from each other.

Basic breakfast. Stairs down to breakfast room and stairs(short flight) to elevator. Pillows could be more comfortable.

To get here take the yellow line 4 from the airport and get off at the Serdica stop and change to the blue line number 2 and get off at the National Palace of Culture. This will only cost 80cent. The staff here were very friendly and helpful and this hotel is only a short walk from Lidl so stocking up on drinks and snacks is definitely an option. It is also near some bars and restaurants but considering its location you will have better options elsewhere for food and drink. It was cleaned during our stay and if we needed milk for coffee or anything else, help was always delivered with a smile by the staff. We stayed in room 101 and the only thing I would have an issue with (and this is not at the hotel staff but the management) is that the carpet and mat definitely need an upgrade and their spare pillows in the press were stained and dirty. So much potential otherwise. The bathroom is a little small too and we would be considered healthy and fit. Wifi worked but sometimes it had its moments but most of the time it was fine. Their airport shuttle is expensive so we downloaded the Yellow Taxi app and saved a fortune because we needed a transfer for an early morning flight going back to Ireland.

The receptionist was not very motivated. And the breakfast was very poor

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also great and very clean. There was no balcony, which given the temperature this time of the year is okay. The TV was a bit small but it did the job. There might have been breakfast included, I'm not sure but we didn't take advantage of that as we preferred to go to other, more dedicated places in the center. Overall everything was okay. One thing I found a bit weird is that you could hear people in the other rooms very easily at night, whether they were coming back, leaving or just talking. As I mentioned above a slightly bigger TV would have been great as well.

Location and size of our apartment. Stuff is excellent The pillows are ridiculous. Lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. And they need more pillows per person. Rooms need vacuuming daily not when customers ask for it.

A clean, comfortable hotel with welcoming staff in an excellent location—I would definitely stay again. I was very satisfied overall and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The staff is so kind ! Great value for money Nothing , this place is great.

The room was nice. Bathroom medium. To use the parking one need to get the chip on the reception. To do that, one need to find a parking on the street. since there is no Hotel stop in front. I circled the streets for 40 minutes !!! To then learn that it’s a parking what costs the same then all the other parkings with the difference that you need to book 24h.

My stay at St George was a perfect value for money experience. The room was very comfortable, extremely clean, spatious and with all the required amenities. The mini bar was a bonus addition making my stay more convenient and pleasant. The location is perfect, right next to the metro station and close to the center of Sofia and NDK. Staff was quite helpful and the breakfast included everything necessary for a good start of the day. I also especially enjoyed the nice balcony of the room.

Great location close to pedestrian mall and many shops and restaurants. Our favorite was Craft around the corner. Good breakfast with many options in a clean room downstairs. Staff was always helpful. Nothing.

The breakfast was the same everyday

The hotel staff provided excellent directions before I arrived which were spot on for someone who is a first time visitor. The breakfast was great. The room is serviced daily. Not far from the main Boulevarde in an interesting street running parallel filled with small creative businesses. It also has a lift . The staff could not be more helpful and positive. Everything looks well maintained and the property feels safe and secure. Nothing.

The hotel was excellent from top to bottom. I had a logistical problem, which did not involve St George in the slightest
