Good location. 5 minutes walk from the Metro station Serdika and 7 min walk from beginning of Votosha Blv. Personal is supper friendly. All is little bit outdated. Towels are awful.

The size if the room was great and I liked that the hair dryer was not cheap and did not overheat like other hotels. The breakfast was very limited. There was a bowl of fruit that my little son reached for and I had to explain to him that it was plastic. The only fruit and vegetables they had was olives. The hot breakfast was eggs and fried bread and these pastries that you buy frozen from the supermarket that were so cheap that they hardly had any cheese in them. They needed more of a variety of food. The breakfast could have started earlier than 7:30. If you have a tour, you need an earlier breakfast. The most disappointing was front reception. I asked about day tours and the lady said check the internet. I went to the tourist office, checked the internet and asked at the hotel and it is disturbing that none of them could help me. I tried to book a tour and I thought something was wrong when they asked me for Polish currency and the company was in the Czech republic. There are so many scams. I tried with get your guide and viator but they kept on telling me something was wrong with my card. It took me a long time to realise that the worst tour company in the world was the best in Sofia and almost the only choice. Why couldn't the hotel say that Traventuria is the only one really. They are cheap but very lacking. The better choice is bulltrips but you pay a lot more but get a private driver. There is nothing in between like every other country.

Very nice location. No vegetables (cucumber or tomato) during breakfast.

Location was great, the front desk staff was super nice. I guess we need to realize that 4 stars in an eastern country isn’t what we expect of 4 stars in a western country. It was ok for a short trip. Sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable. They had some problem with pipes in the walls and if someone started talking under us in the room, we heard it and they usually were talking 2am, so our sleep was a bit problematic. Breakfast was once super late when we were rushing to our tour, once they closed early. The waitress in the restaurant super rude, coffee machines were dirty as hell.

Location, Staff

The price tag for very outdated rooms with lack of outlets is too high. It's definitely not 4 star hotel like it's claimed, so if the price was lower I would rate it much higher. Other than that no problems, it's more than good enough to have somewhere to sleep for a night or two.

Staff was friendly and very supportive! The value for the money was well beyond, as hotel is located in the city center! Not many options for breakfast, but decent

Big room and the guy at the checkout was wonderful The location is not really ideal. Close to shops but not restaurants and cafe. Kind of far from the boulevard. The hotel is old and needs renewing. Also, I requested baby crib before arriving and it was approved but when arrived it was not in the room and they told me I can request it later. I called before 11:00 pm and they said “no service at this time” and that they will provide me the crib by tomorrow.

Nice!

It was old. There were nothing in the refregerator at all.
-
Location wise its fine. Worst experience ever with breakfast menu and their coffee machine wasn’t working all the days. Also quality of food was very poor seems they are serving expired food.
-
Can walk in 5 minutes to the metro. Restaurants and shops on the street. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Outdated but clean. Breakfast is horrible. Little to no choice and poor quality products. Better going out to the nearby pastry shops or coffee shops. Definitely not a 4* hotel. Three stars at most.

Nothing.

Nice pedestrian street. Good relaxed Bulgarian vibes. Some eastern legacy which I enjoyed a lot. All good for me but this is not for superficial wannabe influencers
