The location was close to the main bus station and it was perfect for a short sleepover, I arrived very late and the host was accommodating with my super late arrival and early departure. The bathroom was very small and the bunk bed was very squeaky, I believe I woke up my bottom bed roommate when entering and exiting the bed. Very simple room that could have had more space if the locked closet/wardrobe would be available for my belongings.

Clean, comfortable, easy check in. Very good value for the money.

Location is central Room and bathroom are clean and shower is great. Cleaning lady looks nice but doesn't speak English at all. I was put on the phone to speak with another lady (presumably manager) who can speak English It's like you are renting a room (or a bed in a dorm room) with the landlord staying in the same house, in this case the landlord is an old man who always sound grumpy and smokes quite a bit. He never yells at me or anything but I could understand people may feel uneasy towards him. Weak wifi in the room (as the dorm room is at the corner of the house). Signal reception better in the kitchen and there is no indoor common space. Only outdoor space with a table and chairs Kitchen has very limited utensils but you can still manage to cook something simple. You don't get the key to the house, so everytime you come back you ring the doorbell and the old man will open the door for you. Understood this is not a hotel so can't be judged against the standard, but at this price you also have other better options.

From the moment you enter the main corridor, there is a strong smell of cigarettes that never goes away. The worst part is that the staff themselves were sitting right there in the hallway, three people smoking non‑stop and drinking alcohol, so the smell was everywhere and there was no way to escape it. Because the hostel has shared showers and bathrooms, it made moving around very uncomfortable, especially if you are travelling with a girlfriend or as a couple – you simply don’t feel safe or at ease walking to the shower or even going to the toilet. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic comfort, cleanliness and a non‑smoking environment.

Well.....I am still looking for something to like Communication is quite tough as a lady with an authoritative tone will answer the phone explaining how you should know this and that about her "HOSTEL."" It is listed as a guesthouse, but it is not one. It is a 1star hostel but extremely dirty and smelly. Even though it's 1 star, as mentioned on the room door, it should be at least cleaned and warmed for being the month of March in Eastern Europe. I have not used the second night reservation as it was very cold, and the smell of cigarettes was off-putting.

None except for one staff who was helpful. See my other review which is more detailed. 1. Owner (Rumiana) was rude, nasty and arrogant to us. Acknowledging that it is a 1 star hotel, it does not mean that the owner is allowed to be disrespectful and nasty to us. 2. Poor soundproofing of walls and we had terrible neighbours during our stay - apparently they are gypsies and usually make a hell lot of noise which we had to endure as the owner was least bothered to enforce house rules on them. 3. The smell of the house just reeked of sweat, decayed food and cigarette smoke.

Nothing except for one senior male staff (Jordan) who was very helpful and understanding. 1. 3. THE NASTY OWNER (RUMIANA) - Oh god, I’ve never come across such an obnoxious, rude and unhelpful hospitality staff and more shockingly, the owner herself. First, I told her that guests were smoking in the apartment and she said she couldn’t do anything because she’s not the police - not helpful at all. Second, she was very rude and nasty when I made a second booking at her hostel on booking.com as she wanted me to pay her directly to avoid paying commission. I stayed here for 3 nights and needed to extend for 3 more days as much as I hated this place - but I had no choice as my motorcycle was being serviced and my belongings were all here. I asked Rumi whether she could give me a better price than the online rate but she insisted multiple times that I pay her the same as what I paid on booking.com - absolutely no benefit to me. She just didn’t want to pay commission to booking.com. So I took the chance during the 3.3 Sale to book a private ensuite room in the the same hostel (I was in a twin room w shared bathroom at first) and got a good cashback from it. She was SO FURIOUS and RUDE that I booked on the website and confronted me. Given her poor attitude, I couldn’t be bothered to educate her about booking.com’s cashback policy and asked which room I should move to. Then she claimed that no rooms were available and I had to remain in my twin room w shared bathroom. This was a COMPLETE LIE as booking.com still listed at least two ensuite rooms available! I also knew for a fact that there were available rooms on another floor. I hope Rumi gets barred on booking.com for trying to evade paying commission. Finally, I want to highlight that there are MOSTLY poor reviews from international travellers on booking.com and Google - many of them relating to Rumi. You can also see on Google that Rumi herself replied to some reviews and appeared to be very rude.

Location is perfect and the lady receptionist is very friendly. It was not so clean and if you are couple then it could be a bit problem of privacy.
