Such a good central location for metro and trams. Very close to a supermarket (Lidl, the famous German) where you can find all kinds of essential food. My favorites for breakfasts is Skyr (Icelandic yoghurt) + croissant + bio strawberry jam.

I like this centrally located hostel, and its smiling people as well. Easy to reach from the airport (metro + 5-7 min walk) and central train station (15-20 min walk). Rooms and beds are clean and well designed to provide privacy and comfort. Centrally located means that the streets can sometimes be noisy. Don't forget your earplugs.

I really appreciated the staff that checked me in. Previously, I stayed 3 nights with an uncomfortable mattress. I returned for one night (after visiting another city) and the staff took note of my previous review and gave me an upgrade with a better mattress without my asking. In fact, the staff was insistent that I have a better bed this time. The upgrade had more head room in the bunk and I was the only one in that dorm room. Thank you so much for doing your best to make your guest happy

Didn't have to wait for shower or toilets. Location was convenient. Everyone respected the hostel's rules when I was there. There is a grocery store (Lidl) across the street. The coil mattresses were noisy and not comfortable although is sleep-able. They charge a deposit of 5e each for locker key and front door key fob. Without the front door key, you could be waiting for the door to be open although they say someone will remotely open it. You will likely encounter this when you arrive at the hostel for the first time.

The woman at the hostel was incredibly kind and welcoming, almost like a mother. She made me feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of from the moment I arrived. The location was also great, very convenient and easy to explore the city from. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, friendly stay.

Location is great. It's a cool neighborhood with many cafes and bars. Minutes walk from Serdika station. The hostel is clean, quiet, and the most organized of any other hostel in Sofia. It reminds me of hostels from 10+ years ago when there was actual staff that still checked you in (many other hostels I've been to now have self-check in). I prefer sleep over partying inside a hostel these days so that's why I always like this place. No partying allowed inside - just go to a bar, etc. if you are interested in that. Lots of signs showing cost of things if rules are broken. I guess some people need reminding, but I think if you choose this hostel, you kind of know what you're getting into so maybe it's not needed.

Quiet neighbourhood, grocery store is only a few steps away, all the guests were pleasant.

Location is great with a few good looking local cafes and bars around, as well as Lidl. It's minutes from the city center and the main metro station. On your way to the metro station you can find a public fountain with thermal mineral water! At one point, it seemed like someone was preparing food and burning garlic. It was not posible to enter the kitchen If you don t want your clothes/hair to soak up that smell. It would be nice to add some rule about cooking near open window or not using garlic or something...

price A couple of months ago, I paid for my stay in cash. This time, the staff asked me to pay in cash again. Since I didn't have any cash, I had to go to an ATM. It was night, and the banks were closed. I spent a couple of hours trying to withdraw cash. When I returned with the cash, the staff told me the payment had already been made online. I was angry because I had wasted a couple of hours in the middle of the night trying to withdraw cash.

Good people, well-maintained.

Honestly, it’s one of the few hostels that made me feel like home. The owner and staff at the place is are great people. The owner always tried to ensure that we were enjoying our stay here and asked if we needed any help. The kitchen, and the bathrooms were clean. The room had heating and the beds were comfortable, so it was great in general. I joined the Rila Monastery tour from the hostel, and we ended up going to a few more places like Boyana Church and several viewpoints on the mountains. It was definitely better than what most local agencies/tour groups offer.

the hosts are incredible, i found my adopted grandmother :)

Nina and the receptionists are doing a fantastic job, very friendly and they do their best to make everyone‘a stay comfortable. Keep in mind that the building is very old.

Location is perfect, and the host is too nice!

The location, the nice volunteers and guests Really bad hygiene! The blankets and pillows have a bad odor and I had to request mine to be changed. The hot water is stopped at 10:30pm and is not available before 9am. The manager Nina pretends she doesn't know why, but the truth is that she cuts electricity costs. The heater in the Deluxe rooms is not turned on until you request it and could be off the whole day and night, because there is no one on the reception.

Location, common room, Staff, kitchen and the owner were very nice and kind. Uncomfortable synthetic bedsheets, thinn foam mattress, no heating in the bathroom(real pain in winters) , less clean bathrooms,
