UH FLAT THE SOKCHO

Clean, specious, modern. Nice sea view. Great location - close to the market (walkable distance). Parking. There was no one main trash bin in the room except for the small ones in the bathroom and bedroom. So we had to figure out our waste ourselves. There is a kitchenette but it is pretty empty which makes it pointless.

for 4 adults the room was quite small, don't recommend to bring big luggages with you as you won't have space to open them No breakfast option available

We spent two nights at UH Flat The Sokscho and our stay was very pleasant. The room was really nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The room was also equipped with a kitchen but if you want cooking equipment you need to ask at the reception and they will quickly deliver it to your room free of charge. We had very quiet nights and the bed was also pretty comfortable. If you are driving, the building has also a large underground parking which is free for all guests. We found the staff to be welcoming on arrival. Definitely a nice accomodation to use if you are visiting the nearby National Park.

The place has a great view of the ocean. The location is great to both bus stations/downtown bus to seoraksan is a block away. Very clean There are no utensils/cup/dishes in kitchen. No laundry facilities in this big building. The staff speaks little English even with Google translate communication is difficult.

We arrived at couple of hours earlier, tried to check in early, they asked us pay extra to do that.

Honestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations on this trip thus far. Out of the 5 star FS hotel in Seoul, a hotel in Seorak and another hotel in Gangneung, the UH Flats was the most comfortable, warm, and clean room with all the amenities and closet space! Definitely try to book a bedroom with a separate common space and kitchen. Such a great deal as well! Was sorely tempted to extend my stay but we had grown tired of Sokcho and needed to move on to the next city. I will say that they are absolutely strict about check-in and check-out times (must pay afditional fees) which is unfortunate but reasonable given the price points of this hotel property. Excellent location within walking distance to Yeonggeumjeong, the port market and the Sokcho Tourist and Fisheries Market. Would want to stay here again for longer (even to see Seorak Mountain). Strict and expensive check-in/out procedures. Dirty lobby furniture.

+caring staff (every day we received water bottles, every day, every day they cleaned and changed towels) +the location is near the main market +very clean room +even from our room we could see amazing views to the beach side! Therefore, atmosphere was incredible ? -location (35-40 minutes by foot to the main beach and 25 minutes to the small beach) -there were no frying pans, no pots, no dishwashing liquid, so it was not convenient to eat in the room

Location was great and close to a lot of restaurants. Easy to walk around. The room is nice but it would be better to have less cabinets and more places to hang clothes and towels. The living room table was unstable, needs to be adjusted or replaced.

It was very clean and new. The location is good for public transportation. The staff upgraded our room to a room with a washer and dryer, which was very helpful. Minor: we used a taxi to get to the hotel. The driver didn't know UH Flat and had a hard time. It will be great to share the Korean name of the hotel. Otherwise everything was great.

pleasant stay, spotless room, very friendly staff

Everything close this building. Hotel doesn't have washing machine and laundry room. Thus, travelers wash their clothes at the self washing service quite far from the hotel. Specially i can't recommend travelers who are more than 2 days.
