Adequate rooms Too noisy and busy downstairs

Location and bar/bar staff were good. Room was comfy. Lift not working. Staff at reception when checking in had a attitude "well if I must, I will help"...type attitude. Meh!

Food was excellent and staff were extremely polite and helpful. Room was noisy in the morning as this was directly over the gym.

Modern, clean and great for parents with children. Food was a bit limited but we did order quite late.

Great hotel, large with clean, modern facilities. Really comfortable bed and nice shower. Good iron (for pressing clothes), good little coffee machine. Provision of pods, tea bags and coffee sachets and a packet of cookies is a nice treat. Fantastic gym facilities. Nice big bar area and on site coffee shop is a nice touch. Reasonable sized car parking area. The PIR in the bathroom stayed on for an inordinate amount of time which is a pain when you’ve visited the bathroom during the night :( Mildly worrying Security aspect: large police presence while we were there but we weren’t made aware of what the issue was?

We have stayed in the room before, but now it has been upgraded the rooms are stunning! :) All the staff are lovely and so welcoming every time we come to stay! One staff member even helped us come set our smart TV to watch movies Every time we ask any questions they are always happy to help us with a smile on their face :) Just the distance, if we had to travel out for food places there is a distance but that's it!

Very smart rooms with cosy beds, booked a family room and it has a great size. Great location. Shower was great and all mod cons, air con great with nice classy features. Really liked the shower gel and hand soap etc Noisy slamming doors and corridors noisy at night, not easy with a little one. Had to use a QR code to ask for more loo roll and milk, put request in at 6.45am via qr code and nothing arrived, queried it via reception on way out later and staff wrote it down. Had loo roll on return but no milk. Room wasn't refreshed so had no milk for tea/coffee, requested again via qr code never arrived. All that technology and not a cuppa in sight. Not so easy to pop down again to ask with a sleepy youngster in tow. Also didn't know had to pay parking charges on arrival has to pay 2 days worth on my card, not ideal.

Gym and pool Breakfast quality could be better including coffee. Offer of fresh poached eggs would be good.

Pleasant room. Everything worked, which was nice! For a single night it was fine! Car park looked chaotic at times. Luckily we arrived at a decent time.
