Hotel Del Mare

The hotel property has a good location, near the beach and close to restaurants. This hotel is only 4 stores level therefore, not too much traffic of people. The staff was friendly and provided professional exceptional assistance. IWe enjoyed the terraza. The breakfast was very good with very attentive staff as well. Because the location of the hotel was near the beach so in order to go downtown, it was time to claim up the hill and all the stairs to reach the top.

Very nice location, close to the beach. The hotel is very clean and the staff extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended! I wish they had a pool for hot summer days.

Location was great- walk to center was around 10-15 min (uphill, but fine!) rooftop terrace was very relaxing Shower size

I loved the location. It is charming! Steps from the water. Many great restaurants are nearby. The hotel is expensive for the size of the rooms, etc. It was a bit more expensive for the type of hotel.

I always believe that a great hotel is defined by its people. The reception team creates the first and last impression, and the ladies at reception made ours unforgettable. Thank you for making our family stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento.

The front desk people were so helpful. The place for breakfast was very cool and the roof top was beautiful. The rooms were tiny. I knew the rooms were small. We had a king bed and bunkbeds. The stairs for the bunkbeds hit the king bed. There was a small “ closet” with a bench. My husband put his on the bench I put my carryon below it. My kids had no where to put their bags. Saving us was the roof because we could hang out there.

A very nice, cozy, and charming hotel with a pleasant atmosphere.

Having to walk in the street to reach the beach

Location to walking around city was great. Steps from the beach. The tiles and charm was perfect. Clean and authentic with comfortable beds and security windows for privacy and darkness. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. My two boys 15 & 11 did great with the bunkbeds. We also enjoyed the walk up the hill many times into town. They provided maps and easy to talk to in English. Top of the hotel is a beautiful lookout over the marina and perfect for a drink with the seagulls. No Water View. I was under the impression for the price and “balcony” description we would have a partial marina view. I do feel duped for the price and lack of pictures for clarity. Also when ordering a taxi for a quick ride the price is quite high. They should have a shuttle to the train station and port a few times a day.

The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was very good with wide variety, gave us a good start to the day. The roof top terrace had comfortable chairs and a superb view of the water. Staff was exceptional in handling requests. No problem with billing. There was not a channel that featured English speaking shows.

Just 3-4 minute walk to the beach, and there are many restaurants to choose by the beach. The managers are kind and helpful. The breakfast was great with a lot of choice. The room is very small but very clean. wish the hotel can charge parking with credit card.

The breakfast was fabulous!! You couldn’t have asked for anything more. The staff was great and always helped us with getting a taxis and anything else we needed. The location was great and only one block from wonderful fresh seafood restaurants! There was nothing we didn’t like.

The property was clean, very close to the beach, and only a 15 minute walk to the center of town.

The property is at a very good location, right next to beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff is polite and friendly too. The room is too small, so small that it did not have enough space for a 25kg capacity trolley to open. It was very very suffocating.
