Villa Prestige

Everything. This place is wonderful. Nothing. It was great!

The hotel has beautiful views and its' sister property, Hotel Prestige, has a really nice swimming pool and terrace. The room was nicely renovated and had a big bathroom. The villa itself is quite nice and has a total of 5 rooms. We had a big room with a nice balcony to enjoy the view. I had extremely high expectations for this hotel and as beautiful as our room and the pool at the other property were, it was all a disappointing experience. While I knew that the hotel was far from the city center (about 20-25 minutes), the main issue was that there is little to no public transportation that can be counted on to arrive to/from this hotel. Unfortunately private taxis and transfers are EXTREMELY expensive throughout the Amalfi Coast, so keep this in mind in booking this hotel. To enjoy this hotel properly, you must either have your own car or be willing to spend anywhere from 60 Euros for a short lift to the city center to over 100 Euro to get to Positano. On top of that, the "free" shuttle service that the hotel provides is very scarce and you are constantly looking at your watch to make sure you don't miss one of the very few shuttles provided. Unlike other hotels that are far from the center, this hotel has opted not to offer more shuttles. In fact, as noted in several other reviews, there is no shuttle service at all between noon and 5:30pm! That simply does not work because now your entire day is focused around the hotel's schedule. While you can certainly get to the hotel from the bus station in the center, the problem is more in not being able to catch the bus to Positano because the bus will almost surely be full by that point. Also, the bus stop is in fact not that close to the Villa Prestige and I was shocked the hotel expected guests to lug their luggage up that hilly curvy road that doesn't even have a sidewalk on either side. Very dangerous! They also expect the Villa guests to walk on that dangerous road to get to the pool which is quite a distance aways! Finally, as the first shuttle of the day isn't until 8:30am. it's not early enough to catch connecting flights/trains upon checking out. You're forced to pay big money to depart the hotel.

Would suggest this place 100% for your stay in Sorrento

The view! CUTE Boutique Hotel..funky..in a clean, modern, good way. The excellent communication at any time with all staff. Special praise to Graziana! That they provided ride service from the Villa to hotel, as it is not walkable to hotel and free shuttle service to Sorrento. Room specific (503), I had suggested they hang a blackout curtain. The Villas lighted sign is right by the balcony door and easily seen from the bed. The two other suggestions were towel hooks and a small table to put a cosmetics bag in the bathroom. They were very receptive to these suggestions.

The room, the view, & staff! The staff are extremely helpful & respond very quickly. Location is about 20 minutes from town, but the hotel offers a great shuttle service to & from town throughout the whole day.

Beautiful view, modern rooms, clean and bright with views overlooking out to the sea ! Wonderful restaurant in the hotel It is not close to the center. You have to take a shuttle every time we wanted to go to the center of town or over to the main hotel branch to use their pool. 

The room size is great, but the view is incredible! The location is abit far but it’s a really nice spot so it didn’t matter too much. And the shuttle was convenient from town to the villa and hotel.

Okay, absolutely breathing taking! We gad the most amazing view of versuives! The most helpful and wonderful staff ever! My partner injured his ankle our first day, and they were helpful with ice and so accommodating We came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, and we ended up getting engaged on this trip but had left this lovely hotel by that point Favourite hotel we stayed at on the trip Breakfast at the other property and poolside was lovely as well as dinner The shuttle into town was great. They were great with the shuttle to the over hotel for my partner to relax day 2 after the injury, which helped so much for the rest of the trip I can't thank the staff enough for being so helpful, wonderful, and accommodating Free shuttle to town and back is amazing Gorgeous room!! Little anniversary suprise left for us My only thing would be if there were more shuttle time to town and back , but other than that, nothing absolutely excellent

Incredible staff. They received me late at night so I can check in without a problem. They have many services to make your stand as pleasant as possible, like shuttle service to downtown. Worth everything

Beautiful view and great staff. Rosa served as our registrar, hostess and concierge, all in one very friendly, helpful, and sweet person.

Location, if you have a car. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Sorrento City. View from room. Breakfast is not in the same place, Villa guests have to travel in the highway for 5min by car to the “Hotel Prestige” for breakfast (or dinner, or pool, or whatever else). If you are a light sleeper, like me, sleeping will be hard as the air conditioning is loud, and walls are thin, you can hear everything, from chatting to other people going to the bathroom in the middle of the night (the water running is very loud).

Rosa made our experience in the Villa a 10/10, she made our checkin experience wonderful and her suggestions were top. She was sweet and attentive throughout our stay, we loved her! It was super clean, the views were unmatched and it was very peaceful. We rented a car to go along the coast and easily reached places like Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Atrani or Sorrento. We honestly loved everything from the Villa and wished our stay was longer. Nothing, even though it was a bit far from Sorrento center we already knew that when we booked. As a suggestion, it would be awesome to have a coffee machine with coffee and milk in the room :)

The view from the balcony was beautiful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The location. Its about a 15-20 min shuttle ride to Sorrento and we had to plan our day around the shuttle times. However the shuttle drivers were excellent and gave us great recommendations. Since it’s a small Villa with 5 rooms it did seem a little noisy in the hallway. Overall it was a great place and I would stay here again.

Super nice and helpful staff, the rooms were super nice and clean and ours even had a nice view. The hotel is hard to reach but they offer a shuttle with various schedules. Overall awesome stay.

The view was amazing and staff were so helpful! A bit far from Sorrento Center but they do have a free shuttle.

It was small and personal with an amazing view. It was a little out of town but the free shuttle was great
