The hotel is located in an area where you can walk to downtown Lake Tahoe, the casinos, and restaurants — it has a very good location. the hotel rooms need a lot of work. For what I paid to stay 3 days and 2 nights, I expected the room to be better maintained. If you're looking for a good location, this place is fine — as long as you don’t mind the condition of your room.

The room itself was shabby, with visible dirty spots on the walls. The bathroom had no proper ventilation other than a window, and there was black mold growing on the ceiling, which is unacceptable. The TV setup was also frustrating: no basic channels, only apps, and it froze almost every minute. The WiFi was very poor as well. The worst part was that the TV turned itself on twice during the night, waking us up. I guess it may have been reacting to another room’s remote control. Parking was icy and felt unsafe. It hadn’t been raining or snowing for a couple of weeks, yet the ice was still there. And we paid $183/night for this service! Overall, it felt like the Tea Garden staff simply don’t care. You are paying only for the location, which is good. I would not recommend staying here. I would never come back to this place ever. The staff don't care about their guests at all. Wondering who gave them 10 points for wifi? Wifi was very poor even at night.

The shower looks like a horror movie scene.

Location The room is so outdated it's gross. You can't take you socks off and walk on the dirty stained carpet. There was mold on the ceilings. The room was the most expensive room I've ever stayed in and yet it was the most outdated and dirty.
-
The fact that we could not turn off the heater and it was super hot at night
-
Location is good Dirty, unkept, air conditioning was broken, loud - in general, gross!
-
Price Door didn’t lock. No one there to talk to or solve issues. Bathroom ceiling looked gross. Microwave and fridge did not work.
-
Old and not very clean. Icy parking lot was a hazard. Claims 3 stars on booking but it's actually 2 stars.
