Residence Inn by Marriott Southern Pines/Pinehurst NC

It was all truly excellent, just breakfast that was a little bit of a letdown, but fairly typical for this class of hotel. Room, facilities and staff were all great - especially the pool and the location. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. Great oyster bar across the road which I also thoroughly recommend. The hot breakfast option was a little tired, but generally what I would expect for this class of hotel (so no better or worse, but I wanted it to be better.). Car park was full one night because someone had parked their trailer and car across 6 slots.

The pool and jacuzzi was a plus and it was quiet nice location.

The location was extremely well kept and clean.

Close to other places we had to attend. Family friendly I wish families could have been roomed closer together

Walking distance to shopping and food.

Very nice stay at Residence Inn Southern Pines. Quiet setting. Outdoor pool with grill and firepit. Pleasant staff. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good. They even served bacon on our third morning. Would stay here again.

Sweet staff, low key vibe, great amenities

I wouldn't stay here again based on the rooms. They are small and not cleaned well at all. There also were no extra trash bags so that was an inconvenience for us.

Love this place. Kids love the basketball hoop. Comfortable rooms in every way. Amazing breakfast and coffee, cold brew with coffee shop options and fixins for waffles. Delicious eggs . The hot tub was not hot one of the 2 nights we tried to use it so that was a disappointment.

Check in was really fast and easy, Ms.Shea checked me in- so helpful and really nice person! The breakfast was great as well. It rained the entire stay, wasn’t able to use the outdoor pool.

Hotel was in a convenient location without being right on a busy highway. Restaurants, shopping, movie cinema, and a grocery store within walking distance or short drive. I was impressed by the size of our suite (2 bed/2 bath - with common area and small kitchen) very spacious. Most importantly, it was extremely clean (having 3 children this is a must). Very quiet and comfortable. Laundry onsite (needed this as we were staying here to play softball tournament in nearby city) was handy (laundry room very clean). All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above and beyond your typical continental breakfast. Larger than average dining room and multiple food choices. Pool was clean with plenty of deck chairs and pool towels were available. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area…if we ever find ourselves back in Southern Pines, we will stay there again.

Free breakfast could use some upgrades… real bacon or sausage and toast would be nice Overall we’ll stay here again

Very good

The room was fine. The towels were fluffy. The breakfast was typical. The location was convenient for our needs. Across the street we were able to get a late night bite to eat(overall the area is not open as late as we are used to in our travels)
