The location, size of the rooms, most importantly the host Thomas he is simply awesome, very courteous, humble and helpful.

Everything about this property is special- the location, value, convenient, Management's assistance, comfort and decor! 1" from fabulous market--grab fruits and enjoy! Offered breakfast coupons at very good local restaurants and helped arrange transportation and helped with luggage!! Can't imagine a better location!!

Central to the palace and well maintained. The staff are super friendly and helpful and helpful. They helped us carry our luggage and bring them to the ferry. They even help us with laundry!

And the best part of all was Toma and the rest of the staff! So friendly and eager to help. Great people! I’ve been a lot of places but have never stayed in a finer establishment.

The location, right inside the Diocletian Palace, was ideal. The rooms were large and comfortable. But the real differentiating factor was the service and support of the property. Tomislav was simply outstanding - before we got there, while were there and when we were leaving. There was nothing he would not do to make our stay better. Responsive, accommodating, of service always - could not have asked for anything better. He is truly a great asset for Vila Nepos! The only downside (and it really didn't make a major difference, was that it could stay a bit noisy into the evening. And the Church bells religiously (ha ha) at 6 AM every morning. A bit of a shock the first morning, but not a big deal after that. But something to know before you go. Does not alter my feeling for the property at all.

The room was so comfortable and an amazing size for our family of 4. The staff was super kind and helpful, and we were located right in the center of the old town and Diocletian's Palace. Breakfast was at a nearby hotel and was delicious with several different options.

Beautiful apartment. Decorated very good. In the middle of the Palace. Breakfast coupons good at several locations Because it was in the middle of the Palace parking was a bit of a problem.

It felt like we were staying in a beautiful palace within the palace walls. Absolutely stunning apartment for our family and they were so kind to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs! We also had fabulous breakfast included every morning. One of the best properties we've stayed at, what a great find. We loved everything.

Spectacular palatial suite right in Diocletian’s palace in Split, Croatia. Even better, we got lost after our taxi dropped us off at the edge of the pedestrian section of the city where the hotel is located. A Good Samaritan asked us where we were going, and then called Toma at Villa Nepo who walked over to us, took our (heavy) bags and checked us in. He did the same thing when we checked out, keeping the bags for us until it was time to go to the airport and giving us another great day in Split. Nothing, no complaints at all

The room was fantastic as was the location. The manager was superb! Having a washer/dryer was so helpful.

Excellent location within the palace! It can get a little noisy with foot traffic and the cathedral nearby.

A palace within a palace. Stunning! Great location. Staff was very helpful. Would have loved to have a better coffee machine. The twin beds could have been more comfortable. About 50 stairs up to the apartment. Let the staff help you if you have heavy bags.
