Location to old town The room smelled like sewer water. There was clearly some backed up plumbing somewhere in the hotel. Secondly, the fire alarm went off one night and the guy working the night shift had no idea what to do or how to shut it off. One of the other guests had to figure it out. Went off for an hour. Luckly no fire, but a bit concerning that there was no plan of what to do to investigate, account for guests and how to shut off. Guy was clueless.

This place was absolutely beautiful in your head right in the middle of everything you need. Everything was modernized and very clean. The staff were exceptional with their customer service and accommodations. This is a must study place.

We truly appreciated the attention to detail from the concierge staff from the minute we arrived up to our 4 AM departure to meet our Uber driver. Petra even brought us breakfast to go to the airport!

Great location inside the old walled palace. Modern rooms with good beds. Nice breakfast included. Staff was helpful in recommending swimming areas, restaurants and sites. Minor inconvenience that we stayed in the annex building and had to walk to main hotel for breakfast and checkout.

We were only in Split for 1 night so wanted to stay right inside the Palace walls, and we sure got that with this property! Our room was well appointed, spacious, and quiet. We were really surprised, given how busy and loud the Palace is, that the hotel was so insulated. We even had happy hour at the restaurant outside the courtyard area was quiet and cool. Great stay. Staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. I don't remember receiving instructions about how hard the hotel was to find, so when we put it in Google Maps and were taken to the back alley entrance it was surprising. I am sure I could have missed them via email etc, and we found our way regardless.

Great location, easy to find, attentive, friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast! Lots of stairs to the property, however, staff were very eager to help with bags.

The staff is exceptional, great location, clean room and facilities. The mattress may need to be replaced, it was uneven and uncomfortable.

Loved the historical building and surrounding courtyard. Well maintained and beautiful. Walkable to many shops and restaurants, as well as the Riva. Coffee and Breakfast were delicious. Such a charming place to stay! Our mattress was a little sloped to one side.

Superb location, Professional and friendly staff. I will return with my family.

The staff is amazing - helping us navigate the city, recommending restaurants, and making car arrangements to the airport with a special breakfast since we had an early departure. Good location. Tips: remember to tell hotel when you arrive at the walled city so they can help navigate through steps and hallways.

Excellent location right in the palace. Very helpful staff who come to meet you to navigate from the Riva. But easy to find once you have been shown the way. Beautiful incorporation of the old palace walls into the room. Great breakfast. We frequently heard the Klapa singers who were plying their trade in the nearby vestibule which was a wonderful bonus. (But they only do this during waking hours.) It is very easy to recommend a stay here. No concerns.

Great spot right in the heart of old town split. All the staff was overly accommodating and kind wonderful complementary breakfast definitely recommend.
