Rooms Stella

Stella is a wonderful host. She makes a very nice breakfast each morning and goes out of her way to make certain you are comfortable. The location worked out perfectly for my visit and I look forward to returning in the future.

The host made us feel very welcome and at home. She provided us breakfast every day and snacks/fruit was available throughout the day. The place was very clean. It was close to Old Town and the bus station, only 5-10 min. walk. We liked that the location is in a residential neighborhood and you get a feel of life in a Croatian City. Great value.

Stella is the absolute best. I felt like I was staying with family while there. She’s so warm and makes a mean omelet. The room was very clean, had A/C, a terrace, etc. it was very comfortable. The location was also great. It was just close enough to the old town but enough distance to not feel so suffocated by the crowds. It’s also very close to one of the beaches. I loved my stay with Stella, and I’d highly recommend it. She does have a small magnet collection on her fridge, and I wish I had a magnet from my hometown to add to the collection! N/A

Hard to find, weak wifi.

Rooms Stella is in a good part of Split with easy access to the beach, but the building has no signage so it was hard to find. Then parking was an issue. Apparently blue spots are 18 euros a weekday, but free on weekends. White spots are always free. Finding a parking spot was difficult. The stairway up to Rooms Stella is really rundown, so a delightful surprise to see how nicely she keeps the rooms. Returning at night is disconcerting because the long stairwell is completely dark. My phone flashlight was imperative.

For starters, the host Stella is lovely. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, that our room was clean, and she’s a great cook in the morning! Fresh omelettes, toast, good coffee. The location was easy. A quick walk to the ferry dock, bus terminal, downtown split waterfront, and the local city beach. We were very centrally located in a quiet residential zone. Nothing to report

The property was so close to everything. A 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to either the bus or train station and the harbour. The centre of the town contains the ancient Roman ruins which are well worth a visit. Stella was amazing. The breakfasts were substantial with bread and cheese and cold meats plus a delicious omelette. There was also fruit and yoghurts on offer and fruit juice and of course good coffee. Our room was very comfortable with air con for those very hot days and the bathroom was perfect, spotlessly clean and it also has a hairdryer. The shower is very good also. Nothing bad to say at all.

Oh my goodness, we had the most delightful time at Rooms Stella! Our host was absolutely delightful, she was the sweetest and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Split. She provided us with plenty of travel guides, a welcome beverage, and the most delicious breakfast every morning. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and refreshments, plus the balcony was a wonderful place to relax during the heat of the afternoon. The room itself is quite comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. Easily walkable to the train station, Old Town, and beaches. She and her partner also arranged transportation to us from the airport rental car center, which was so helpful and oriented us to the city. We would love to return again someday, easily one of the best stays we've had. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Nothing, everything was perfect!

Really enjoyed stay . Great location for beaches and and centre. Close to bus / railway/ ferries stations . Accommodation and host Stella and husband were great friendly and helpful . Lots of local knowledge . Very please with breakfast and really enjoyed the omelette and variety of meats & cheeses. Thank you for making stay memorable. Nothing

Great breakfasts by Stella, who's an awesome person. She made sure we felt welcomed and gave us tips on sightseeing. We wished we had more time and then could have stayed longer. We would stay here in a heartbeat next time we're back. It was a good location walking distance from bus, ferry and tourists spots but also quiet and peaceful. Hvala Stella and Elio!

We loved staying at Rooms Stella. She was a fantastic host and couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely, the breakfast fantastic and she was so helpful. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone coming to Split. Nothing- it was all excellent

We loved Rooms Stella, and what a treasure Stella herself is! The finest omelette anywhere and lovely rooms. The property is situated just on the outskirts of the old town, the ferry port is an easy 10 minute walk. Stella arranged an airport pickup which we would highly recommend, and great value at €40 after an early start. The room was on the smaller side but was very clean tidy and comfortable.
