La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spokane Downtown

When I arrived at 12:30, the desk clerk was silly and said I could not check in because it was too early and they didn't have rooms ready when there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. Annoying. The fitness center could be more robust. When they say breakfast is open until 10, it should not be closed at 9:45. Further, the location is not ideal. There is a huge homeless encampment right across the street.

The head shower was the only thing was super nice.8/10

The area is not good and lots of homeless people across the street but the hotel itself is nice. It was loud at night so didnt sleep great. Security seemed good and hotel staff was friendly.

The assistant manager on duty was very kind. Seemed like he was the only one working on the busiest weekend in our area. I couldn’t get into my room until 5:30, though check in was at 3 because it hadn’t been cleaned. Very very short staffed.

Sweet staff. I found stuff under the bed and a corner of the bathtub was missed on the last room service. But the rest of the facility was well-kept and the breakfast was well organized.

We checked in mid afternoon, June 21st. We flipped the bed sheets back, & noticed an ugly stain on the bottom sheet. We immediately called the front desk & were told she would call us right back. By late evening, no phone call & nothing was done about it. FREE breakfast: eggs & sausages were ice cold & so was the coffee. Didn't see anyone around to rectify this. Room for improvement.

The hotel itself is fine-- no problems there, but the location is very sketchy. I would not feel comfortable walking anywhere beyond the parking lot. The hotel is next to gas stations with lots of people who loiter. The 711 across had probably 25 homeless people just hanging out at all times and they are not the friendliest. I was worried my car would get broken into or stollen the whole night. I would not stay here again.

This place is a great deal, comfortable beds/rooms, and a welcoming staff that cares about their customers.

The area that it’s in was a little scary when we pulled up to the hotel but inside the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were clean. Amenities included. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Staff was SO KIND every single time and request. The sweetest people! We would definitely stay again if we come back to Spokane.

Great experience. Staff were friendly every time I came by the front desk. Loved having the option of breakfast. Nice lounge space as well.

We really liked the room. It was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. There was dining close by.
