The privileged location was one of the highlights, being very close to Zion National Park. The staff were particularly attentive and gave us excellent advice about visiting the park and using the barbecue facilities. The cabin was well equipped, the pool was good, and we even saw a deer inside the campground. The kitchen equipment was somewhat limited, although the property explained that this is intentional to discourage eating inside the cabins and prevent ants. Since the barbecue is effectively the only option for hot cooking apart from the microwave, having some basic barbecue utensils would have been very helpful. The sofa bed mattress could also have been a little more comfortable.

Exceptional

Comfy, clean, quiet. Generally OK except the moment when a smoke alarm went off for no reason. It turned off on its own after a minute. Also, no easy access to hot water/coffee.

Great location, very close to Zion National Park, with an easy shuttle connection. The pool was great, the cabin was nice and comfortable, and we loved sitting on the porch at night and looking at the stars. The kitchen could use more equipment, and the sofa bed was not very comfortable.

No kettle for tea or coffee. Not going to gripe about the room it was spotless.. but little things like the kettle and plates would of been good.

Location was perfect and we would have died at Zion without air conditioning-temps were in the 100's. It wasn't cheap but we knew that going in. Plain basic cottage with a bathroom, kitchen type sink and fridge. Property was well kept and the cottage was clean for sure. They provided clean bed linens which was nice. Staff was also very nice. Cost but it is what it is.

The cabins were very nice and clean. A short distance from the national park We had problems with ants in our cabin but staff was notified and they apologized and handled it

Everything was so wonderful! Down to the staff at the front, to the location, to the utilities! The mini store at the front had fairly decent prices for the stuff that most places would up charge for. All of the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped us make decisions based off of what we were going to do during our stay! They explained the bus/shuttle system very clearly. The location was spectacular! Everything was right next door to us and was easy accessible by just walking or by the bus! The Virgin River was literally next to us, so if you have downtime and would like to cool off, be sure to bring some water shoes and take a walk down to the river. They had a grill and seating area right outside the cabin we stayed at. The bathrooms were so clean and smelt amazing for being a public bathroom! They gave us coins for the shower and the shower was nice and the water pressure was fantastic. I would rave about the national park but that’s a given, but the cabin made our stay in the park so much nicer and worth every single penny and dime we spent! The staff at the front did warn us, however there were ants EVERYWHERE lol! But what can you do! Just be sure to keep your cabin clear of crumbs and stuff because they will infiltrate every crevice! If we ever decide to go to Zion again, you can bet your sweet bippy that we’ll be staying at the Zion Canyon Campgrounds again! Honestly nothing! Everything was great, other than the army of ants we had but the staff warned us about that already, and it’s the outdoors so what are you gonna do..

Zion Canyon Cabins was outstanding. From the well-stocked store, to the friendly and welcoming staff, to the immaculate laundry room, to the pretty landscaping that matched the gorgeous setting under the red rocks, everything was lovely there. We stayed in a cozy cottage with plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids, air conditioning, a bathroom, and a small kitchen area. And it was near the last stop in town before the national park, so the park was easily accessible either by bus or on foot. It also was directly across the street from Zion Adventure outfitter, so picking up our hiking gear was super easily. We enjoyed the restaurant next door, Whiptail, a lot too. I would highly recommend Zion Canyon Cabins to anyone visiting Zion.
