Holiday Inn Express Springfield by IHG

Dirty not well maintained cigarettes butts all over weeds and busted up doors and someone will eventually fall in the the insert showers. The holiday express in Hayward Wisconsin was absolutely beautiful visiting it and learn how to run a hotel. Breakfast was outstanding 👍👍👍😟

Very run down, needs work. Didn't feel safe, side door to outside parking lot left open. Staff OK, we had cats be couldn't let them out of their crates because there was space between bed platform and wall and wouldn't be able to get them out from under the bed. Bathroom had rust stains??? On the walls, water left in the bottom of the tub. Broken refrigerator, but thank you for the water.

The room was very clean and comfortable and all the supplies were well stocked. We were able to park close to our room, which was quite convenient. We booked two rooms and asked that they be on the same floor and near each other. We were assigned adjoining rooms on the first floor. Very nice! The breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection to suit everyone's tastes. Overall, an excellent experience. We would certainly stay here again!

This hotel was advertised as having a pool, it did not say that the pool was next door and you would have to walk outside and thru the back hallways of the other hotel to get to it and down two fights of stairs which I could not access with a broken leg so my granddaughter was very disappointed she could not swim. The phone would randomly start flashing a red light that there was a message and it said it was recorded in April and could not be cleared. The air quality monitor was flashing red as well and even though both were silent, the light woke me several times.

Did not eat breakfast. We like the open areas for storage in the rooms. It was very hot that weekend and our A/C kept up and worked very well.

It was very clean and just an amazing experience No complaints

The hotel seemed pretty empty, but they gave us a room that faced an industrial Air Conditioner that shook me all night long. We tried to get a toothbrush but the front desk said they were busy, we waited by the coffee but they never acknowledged us again and we gave up 30 minutes later and left.

The room was clean. We had issues with our door key and the first room number given to us was the wrong room so we had to go back down to the desk after going to the 3rd floor. Not very many towels in room for a family. Rust in the bathroom.

horrible horrible HORRIBLE customer support.. to the bald man working the front desk who over booked the hotel and gave the people who walked in to check our room.. you have the worst attitude and energy i have ever experienced, and i don’t ever leave reviews.. when checking in with my friend who made an online reservation we were told our room and reservation was non existent… then what are we looking at on our phone?? then proceeded to be no help and have a snarky and dismissive attitude towards us.. then when we called customer support and they called him to trouble shoot the problem he said and I QUOTE “i don’t know that’s between you and them to figure out” terrible experience if i could give 0 stars i would.. on the plus side got to see an Abraham Lincoln impersonator while this was happening so that was cool..

Our room was clean. The beds were very comfortable in our room and the breakfast was very good. I do recommend staying there

There was no pool onsite you had to go to the hotel next door

I didn’t use the pool, which was next door across the way, as it was too far from my room.

Hotel staff was great, hated that the pool was in a whole different hotel.

the pool was at hotel next door there was a covered walkway. hotel did not appear to be a holiday inn express to start out as. Easy to locate great staff.

Only other negative was that the eggs on the buffet were powdered. Rest of buffet was nice with lots of variety.
