Hôtel was described as dog friendly, but we weren’t allowed to use any of the main communal areas. We we’re also not provided with any of the dog friendly amenities offered. Room had the ugliest view and very loud extractor unit outside.

Lovely room - very comfortable with a sea view. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Very close to beach and bonus that this is a dog friendly hotel.

Location. Breakfast was good. Staff were attentive and helpful. Our car was parked in car park at rear. On our first night someone clipped it and left a scrape on the rear of the vehicle.

This is a nice and very relaxing hotel, very well located in St Andrews about 5 minutes walk to the Old Golf Course and 10 minute walk to the centre of St Andrews and 10 minutes walk to the castle. Nothing in particular - but for the price, I might have been expected to be surprised a bit more. There were a few little niggles, that you might not expect in an expensive hotel. Room was a bit too hot and the windows did not open very wide. Breakfast was fine but a bit underwhelming.
