The hotel itself was nice very clean. The shared pools were OK the location is in a tight location but they could definitely use some more pool space. The room was great. We had a club level room which came with complimentary breakfast and happy hour. He staff were incredible super responsive and attentive to our every need. The breakfast staff and the happy hour staff on L15 specifically were great!! The location was our least favorite part. Family of four the area around the hotel was definitely for a younger crowd so all about what you’re looking for!! We spent time inside the hotel then left the areas for beaches which were about 30 mins away.

Pool and the seafood restaurant Bit crowded

Staff were very friendly, endeavored to remember names and preferences, would go out of their way to be of assistance The hotel is advertised as St Julian’s, and is definitely Paceville. The area has become a party area with drugs, alcohol and loud music constantly. If I had known the location better I would have e booked further south

The experience in Intercontinental was really nice. First we encountered sone problems then these were solved quickly. Especially the location was nice it was close to sliema and Valetta. Hotel staffs, guest relations was caring and friendly. We loved our room. The breakfast was sufficient. if you want to close to seaside saint juliant is not a correct location. the hotel has a private beach however the sea is not clear and the coast is not that much large and big.

Location, good breakfast and nice staff, spacious room at et 14. Reception service was great. The hotel is a shadow of what it was back in the day. Everything needs refurbishing. I didn’t like that there were unfinished levels at et 16 and 17 I think. No attention to details at all. It seems like everything is low cost maintenance, from the lobby and room access halls to pools and rooftops even lounges. Everything looks over-worn. Definitely not 5 stars. There was a constant humming day and night, some heavy motors or something running.

The staff provided exceptional assistance, particularly Shweta and Mina, who significantly contributed to a comfortable stay. We were also pleased to receive an upgraded room. Their proactive approach to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was highly commendable. The indoor pool was well-maintained, the bar offered a pleasant experience, the outdoor pool was outstanding, and the private beach was truly remarkable.

Our stay at the InterContinental Hotel was truly exceptional. The professionalism of the staff and the outstanding level of service made our experience unforgettable. We would especially like to thank the Manager, Mr. Benjamin, for the generous room upgrade, as well as Mina at the reception for her kindness and assistance. In fact, everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast lounge staff were equally wonderful, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Overall, our stay was incredibly pleasant and enjoyable. If there were a 20-star rating, the InterContinental would easily deserve it. Excellent job to the entire team we will definitely be visiting again. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The staff in the breakfast lounge were very kind and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. everything was perfect, we liked everything

Great location and breakfast.
-
The rooms with doors which lead to other apartment are very bad at soundproof which might be a problem when neighbours are louder.

Everything Nothing

The staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. I would like to visit again next time

There was a mistake by booking 2 rooms, but it was resolved quickly and the room was upgraded. The staff was friendly and the outdoor swimming pool was cold so I couldn't use it. I would like to visit again next time

Aleksander was very helpful and kind. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Good breakfast and amazing gym facilities. Highly recommend

The experience was significantly impacted by unreliable and inconsistent service, with requests often ignored, delayed, or handled unpredictably, especially during breakfast and in communication about the cancelled New Year’s lunch, which involved poor alternatives and frustrating refund procedures. Basic amenities like water provision were inconsistently delivered, and room cleaning was irregular and incomplete despite constant activity in the hallways. Minor maintenance issues, such as scratched mirrors, stained carpets, and insufficient power outlets, were noticeable but forgivable. The elevator capacity was inadequate, causing queues, while the stairwells were in poor condition and seemingly not intended for guest use..

Room was good, no complains. We are sadysfide. Breakfast , not bad! Cofe, exellent! Location , perfect for this period-winter. It is the center of the St.Julian`s. I think in the sommer time there is very noise and too many people! The live cooking eggs area is not makeing the sens for me. The people are working there very hard and there ie alwas queue becose people ordering there special dishes/eggs witch taking the long time and fried eggs are on the same station..... All guests are waiting in the same line.... For me the key is only separate the fried eggs from toblem is gone. Have seen first time that system in my traveling life. Traveling much , whole year around. The inside pool - please be carful the people with the hight approx. 190 cm + !!!!! LOOK UP !!!! I was pointed the problem to the personell, was nothing changed in the whole week we where there.

All good

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Location is right at the heart of the city but parking may be challenging. The service from the concierge can be better. They are 4x times what one would otherwise pay but the flexibility is zero

Made my Wife's birthday special, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Room was big, comfortable and clean Reception team and staff were polite, helpful and made us feel important. Indoor pool and spa facilities maybe bigger since it was a busy mid week during Christmas time.

A bit clubby but convenient to shopping and food Lots of construction as the city develops
