Carlton House Motel

We stayed fir four days and had a wonderful time. Office staff and housekeeping were wonderful. Pool and rooms were very clean. Air conditioning worked amazing!! We would definitely stay here again! Also family and pet friendly near the beach a huge plus!

A couple of small requests for the tub/shower: my wife was unable to enjoy cold water, only lukewarm, and maybe add a grab bar. We also lacked a Do Not Disturb sign. Otherwise, everything was well done. We would recommend Carlton House to anyone looking for comfortable quiet lodgings off from the main drive but still close enough to everything! Thank you for a great time!

This is a no frills motel/extending living/apt building that is that is outdated interiorly BUT has a small clean heated pool and a room with kitchen (has large fridge stove and microwave), dining room, small living room and sliding doors to our 2 beds and bathrooms. The best part is you walk 2 blocks and you are at upham park beach which is free. You save hundreds per night staying here versus the hotels on the beach. You cant beat it it was clean and staff and guests are friendly. There are also restaurants withinn walking distance

Basic but perfect for what we needed- comfortable beds and a close walk to the beach and restaurants.

The staff of this location was super friendly, very helpful. The facilities were very clean and had everything that you could need for a great beach visit.

Very small, very clean, great pool (don’t forget the jets) and a great location close to the beach other amenities. If you are driving, bring your own umbrella and beach chairs, if not, you should stop by a Walmart. It was a great experience overall. They provide pool/beach towels and they have a working laundry. It takes 8 quarters per load. They also have an nice machine next to the laundry.

The room was very clean, and I really appreciated that trash was picked up daily along with fresh towels. The kitchenette was the perfect size and had everything we needed—fridge, sink, and microwave. The flat-screen smart TV was a nice bonus too. Another big plus was the parking—it was easy and convenient, which made coming and going stress-free. One thing I loved most was how quiet the property is—it made for a really relaxing stay. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. I can’t wait to get back to St. Pete Beach and stay here again!

Nicely situated for walks to beach & eateries.

Our stay at the Carlton House was pleasant. The owner was accommodating when I realized we would b on the 2nd floor and would have difficulty climbing the stairs. She quickly made arrangements with first floor accommodation as well as handicap parking right in of front of our apt. The grounds were nice with a pool and several sitting areas along with gas grills. It was a short walk (aprox 3 min walk to the beautiful Upham beach on St. Pete. Several restaurants within walking distance. Thanks again to the owners as well as housekeeping for replenishing and keeping out apt clean daily. ☺️
