Very clean, modern and fantastic location.

Hotel was great. Biggest disappointment was the fact that did not have a parking space and I had to use a city lot a block away that cost me $45.
-
I asked for an extra blanket & was told they could only get them during the day. I should be able to get a blanket at night. There were also bugs in our shower.

Arrived at 1pm, told our room is ready .. if we wanted to check in now we had to pay them $80.00 or wait for one hour. Not a very welcoming experience for the first time there. Also, parking is limited to only a few spots on site, otherwise you’ll need to find a spot somewhere else.Total experience was okay, probably suggest looking elsewhere.

The only negative thing is no onsite parking. The nearest parking garage is about 4 blocks from the hotel, no big deal other than having to haul your luggage to and from the parking garage.

The only issues we experienced weren't major, but they're worth mentioning. On our first night, the A/C wasn't cooling the room no matter what temperature we set it to. We notified the front desk, and they had it fixed right away, which we really appreciated. The refrigerator was another issue it never got cold enough to keep our food and drinks properly chilled, even after adjusting the temperature. The room was mostly clean, but we were disappointed to find a syringe in our room and another one in the hallway, which was definitely concerning. One thing future guests should know is that the hotel has a lively atmosphere, so expect to see people partying around the property. Also, parking is limited. If the main lot is full, you may have to park in the overflow lot and walk about 8–10 minutes back to the hotel. Despite those issues, we still enjoyed our stay. The overall vibe was great, the staff was helpful, and we had a positive experience.

The parking garage was apparently full and we were told to go park on the street. The bed smelled of mildew and the the toilet ran all night.

The location is great. But shower pressure is next to nothing. There is no point in rain shower if there's no pressure. Would've been much better off with regular shower head. The advertised robes and slippers are nonexistent unless you ask and then you'd be given slippers only. Still no robes. The advertised office desk is nonexistent. Had to use the under-TV stand, which was usable, but to plug in my laptop, I had to unplug the TV. To plug in the phone charger next to the bed, had to unplug either clock or lamp. Very limited outlets. In general the room is pretty low end. Cleaning was so-so. But location is good

I checked in late, no a/c in the room and I was in for the night by 11pm after driving around to find food so hot and miserable I checked out before 8am couldn’t sleep after 2 showers but room was large view was nice. I didn’t see anywhere there breakfast to have.

There was not enough parking they sold out and didn’t offer to validate parking and the front desk was rude and the rooms didn’t offer outside calling I had an emergency and needed to reach my husband who was on the way and my cell went dead and I could not call from the hotel phone

Saw a couple of bugs in sink. This is florida so not unusual. Also coffee pot did not work.

For a downtown high-rise hotel, it only has 16 parking spaces -- otherwise guests are left to hunt for street parking or public pay-by-the-hour lots (which may go way up in price at event times like baseball games, soccer games, etc.). The hotel has no general TV service, only a unit on the wall for guests to use for their streaming apps (which did absolutely no good for my elderly parents who wanted to watch the NBA Finals game on network TV). And for a hotel that's relatively new, we found it poorly planned/constructed/appointed -- inconvenient light switch placement (ex: had to go out near the front door to turn on the bathroom light), the shower hinges, screws, etc. were not meant for exposure to water, so everything was completely rusted and staining the tile, no toiletries other than a pump bottle of Walmart hand soap, the in-room phone was not operational. The beds were comfortable and the air-con worked very well, but a lot of other stuff left us perplexed and unimpressed.

Very very average. Lazy and rude staff. FYI there is only parking in a garage with only about 10 spots. I would suggest making other arrangements ahead of time n

Great location close to downtown Saint Pete. Walking with distance to beach Drive, the pier, downtown bars. The corner suite was excellent with amazing views of the bay. Only downfall is very limited parking on site which typically requires offsite parking several blocks away

As usual everything was great. It’s not the first time we stay at the Galaxy. The only thing we didn’t like this time is that the staff that was working when we checked in didn’t acknowledge us for a while. They were doing something in the computer and at least a “ we will be with you shortly “ would’ve suffice. At check out the staff was fantastic. Other than that I highly recommend The Galaxy Hotel.

Clean hotel and a great location. Usual toiletries that you expect a hotel to offer were lacking. No conditioner for example.
