GALAXY HOTEL

The rooms here are not cleaned well, my first room’s bathroom was disgusting. It did not look like it had been cleaned at all. Multiple hairs and stains in the shower. They did change my room, the new room was only marginally better. And the parking situation is awful, only around 12 spots for the entire hotel.

Ghetto, front desk lady gave me hard time switching my hotel room when my AC wasn't working at 10:30pm. Janky. Charged me $20 additional for parking. Almost as expensive as booking with a well known hotel. Don't do it.

The hotel has great amenities and location , however it constantly has guests who don’t know how to behave in public. They are loud and disrespectful . Having a restful night sleep is almost impossible.

You have to park 2.5 blocks away. They did not warn me of that before I booked or arrived. Just an unpleasant experience. Water pressure was poor. They only supplied 1 washcloth but there were 2 of us. The bathroom door would not latch without being slammed. The A/C worked well. The location was good.

Excellent location and the bed was so comfortable. The only thing that is a pain is the parking. Otherwise it’s a great spot.

The parking was unavailable. The rooftop bar was closed. The bathroom floor was sticky. A towel from the previous guest was still hanging behind the door. The closet light was not operating. There was no room safe available. Our room was next to something creating a continuous obnoxious hum All. Night. Long. The walls were so thin that we could hear the conversation of our neighbors at 7:30am! The best part was the small coffee shop that had delicious croissant and cheese sandwiches.

Parking is a hassle. You have to park 1 block away in a abandoned hotel

Not a lot of amenities to speak of. It’s a place to sleep and that’s about it. There was a water problem in the building, so there was no water for half of the stay. Room could be cleaner.

The room was a great size, the beds were super comfrotable. The issues we had were half of the plugs in the room didn’t work and we had to notify front desk twice that our tv didn’t work. Maintenance did finally come fix the tv on the second night, but the plugs were never fixed. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned nor fresh towels brought. We had to go to the front desk each day for fresh towels, only to find they “didn’t have any washcloths” so we were given hand towels to bathe with.

This hotel claims to be 4 stars. Don't believe it. Two stars at best. The cleaning staff didn't even bother to clean our room. I said something to the reception staff and she said "oh, I'll make a report" and that was all. My room was dirty before we checked in with hairy dust bunnies in the corners. The beds were terrible and the pillows not useable. We tried to ask for different pillows but reception said all the pillow were the same in the entire hotel. So, he rolled up a small comforter for us to put inside a pillow case. That was much better that the pillows available. There was a phone in the room that wasn't operable and all it would do is flash this irritating red light 24/7.

We always enjoy staying here. The rooms are great and location too!

Amazing

zero amenities. room was NASTY. matteress was uncomfortable and topper was incorrect size. horrible lighting. bathroom was not properly cleaned.

Friendly staff great location

Great location as walked to watch a baseball game at Tropicana fields for the Tampa Bay Rays. Lovely restaurants on the front as well. They were quite a few bugs in our room particularly the bathroom when we returned later that night.

The location is amazing. I love the aesthetic My mini fridge didn’t work, the sink had water spots and it’s just missing a full body mirror.

Clean room. Very helpful staff. Only downfalls are Tv watching is not good(picture kept buffering) and very limited on site parking. Other than those 2 minor issue, out stay was good.

It was great

When we arrived, there seemed to be an issue with my reservation, so we had to wait for a while, which worried me at first. The hotel is in a great location, but the parking is a little inconvenient and expensive. If you have heavy luggage, I recommend dropping it off at the hotel entrance before parking.
