A very warm welcome. Helped by the staff very friendly upon checkin. Afterwards also got a lot of attention and advice from the hosts Wietske and Paul. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would have loved to stay a bit longer.

Breakfast, owners and the location of the accomodation We expected but the room was small for three adults. No problem if you go back to the room for just sleeping.

Wonderful, personable hosts. Breakfast was excellent - home baked breads and homemade preserves. Excellent full breakfast, fruit, yoghurt and my personal favorite delicious griddlecakes.

A lovely place to stay near to the centre of Stellenbosch. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast is by the pool and the staff could not have been more attentive and pleasant. The parking is secure. Nothing.

Exceptional

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great (especially the banana-maple-ham toast), the garden is extremely cosy and colourful (with gooseberries you can eat from the tree) and many small, hidden hideaways around the building. The family room (but also other rooms) are a bit narrow. This did not create major problems because we mainly were in town or in the garden, but it can get a bit crowded during bad weather.

Great breakfast and location, walking distance to the centre and restaurants. Staff and owners were super thoughtful, a babycot with mosquitonet and a baby chair were available for us. Also great that there's access to a communal kitchen.

Exceptional

Wide choice of cooked or produced to order breakfasts alongside homemade breads and jams. Team very attentive at all times. Location within a 5 minute walk of all Stellenbosch facilities plus easy access when travelling into Stellenbosch by car. Whilst it may have been my poor observation, it wasn’t obvious when booking that the kitchen areas are shared between three rooms. If you wanted to sit out of the room in the evening, this could be more difficult for some.

Beautiful quiet and airy room with mosquito netting throughout so I could sleep with all windows open and not a worry. Super comfortable bed. Nice self serve kitchen. Best breakfast imaginable with any and everything available, home-made and delicious, including three different kinds of home-made bread. Have not had better breakfast in five star hotels.
