Location. Bed was uncomfortable. They don't have many choices for the breakfast.

My room had a bathtub which was nice bonus after whole day of wandering around Stirling. Loved the placement of bed, overall really loved my room. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and kindly stored my backpack before check in as I arrived early and wanted to walk around. My stay went on really great. No complaints from me.

It was pleasant to find that they provide quite good toiletries, including a separate conditioner. The room was quite spacious and the building was really beautiful from the outside and very close to the Stirling castle. The room was unfortunately too dim as the single headlight was incredibly weak.

The size of the room and location in the town. Not much...we were a bit handicapped with the dog with us to enjoy the bar/restuarant/facilities. Maybe some outdoor space as we didn't see benches/outdoor tables,

Location and proximity to the train station and town. Genuine staff. Lovely room and bathroom. Nice to have a little fridge and a fan as it was quite warm. Comfy bed. I left my suitcase after checkout so I didn’t have to carry it around on my last day. That was invaluable. Some rooms noisy so avoid above the kitchens.

Location is great

Fabulous location in Stirling and close to the castle. Room was a decent size with a large en-suite bathroom. Comfortable large bed with extra single bed provided for our daughter which was ok. Breakfast was good - continental and cooked options available. Staff were helpful and friendly. It’s a shame to have to pay extra to use the hotel’s own car park - roadside parking is free between 5:30pm and 8:00am or something like that, but spaces are limited around the hotel and who wants the inconvenience of lugging your luggage up the steep streets!? I think our room was easily large enough to accommodate a proper sofa bed with a little re-arrangement- which would probably suit a lot of families better than having to pay extra for the addition of a single camp bed or book an extra room. Also, the room could do with a little updating - you can hardly call a room “deluxe” when the curtains are hanging in rags. We arrived late in the evening so didn’t require an evening meal but not sure the hotel could have provided that if we had wanted to eat there.
