The proximity of the hotel to the centre of town and everything we wanted to do in Stirling was great. There was no need to use our car. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. And one could not have asked for a better location with the property overlooking a green while our bedroom windows looked onto the garden. Beautiful sitting area and breakfast room. As a vegan (Riana) the typical breakfast options on the menu did not truly accommodate my eating regime. The coffee needs to be much better - it was often too weak.

The staff were excellent and went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met. Margo was a jack of all trades and was a big help with a variety of requests. Shannon made a point of helping us with our luggage (up the stairs) for an early morning departure. The room was quiet and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and had extra large bath towels. The breakfast was very good with a varied menu. Didn't understand that a room with a garden level view would be downstairs. Would have preferred a room on ground level. Although breakfast was very good the toast selection was varied - would ask for brown or whole wheat and get servings of white bread which didn't align with the rest of the breakfast offerings. The coffee machine, cups & glasses etc. was placed in front of the electrical outlets needed for the hairdryer and charging phones etc. which was awkward.

Lovely historical Villa. Staff members were friendly, helpful and made for a very happy stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order plus a buffet of fresh fruit, pastries and other cold items. The shower tray made me nervous with its noisey creeks and moans. Carpets getting abit tired too. No aircon or ceiling fans.

Lovely room, excellent condition and well looked after. The noise of the mashing machines on the toilets was a bit too much sometinmes.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood overlooking a lovely green space. Comfortable living room to relax in with a pot of tea. Helpful staff. Breakfasts and dinner were excellent. My room was quite small.
