Motel 6 Stockton, CA - North

I didn't expect much since it's a motel 6 but I was pleasantly surprised the room was very clean there was good water pressure in the shower the AC worked fantastic. The pool was closed but since I was there for a memorial we didn't really swim anyway. I was genuinely impressed with the location it's in a relatively safe feeling neighborhood directly across from a golf course and what it looks like condos or apartments and in the same parking lot is a pizza place and a quick stop. All in all a very convenient location relatively quiet and we never felt unsafe as two women traveling alone.

Nothing other than mild cleanliness and close to convenient stores Staff, crime rate, no refrigerator or microwave, didn’t get the bed size I paid for and accusatory staff

They helped resolve my issues reasonably and I appreciate that the most!

Since then, I have been able to book my room type through Expedia and come down to the check in window to have my reservation extended that way. Sadly, the issue began today on August 11th, when I communicated that I was having a payment delay for rebooking my stay. When I realized I wasn't able to pay in time,I called down to the lobby and was given time to pack up my belongings in the room. The very next thing I hear at my room door is "Call the cops! I repeat Call the cops on room 2**!" I didn't understand why she used those intimidation tactics on me, despite having my bags packed and in hand. The woman replies by saying "You're basically breaking in the room so I have to call the cops. You never called anyone or went downstairs to talk to anyone." It was surprisinb

Let's start with our arrival. We had a late check-in around 2:30am.

Pool was closed, tv was damaged, ac had missing pieces, this was a last minute cheap find during a cross country trip, a little care could go a long way

Pet friendly, clean room, air conditioning was great with the exception of one person in room service who was not friendly, never smiled and glared at you even when you smiled at her.
