Great location Two single beds pushed together rather than a double. Mattresses were past their best

Beautiful room. Clean, well maintained and stylish. Lovely staff. Exceptionally comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. Really great food. Really great value for money. I liked everything.

It’s nicely located. Big bar and restaurant. Well decorated with nice mix of feeling traditional and modern. Smells clean and nice as soon as you enter. The curtains in the bedroom didn’t close fully. The bed was so bouncy literally my partner just had to sneeze and I was awake. We also both woke up with bad backs (which we don’t normally have) The bathroom was nice but the square footage of the double room was seriously hampered by the inconveniently located sloping ceiling which meant the room was absolutely tiny. The food was good and well priced as we were the drinks. The staff were all slightly odd in the restaurant and bar as in not quite friendly. Overall it was fine but for that price I would have expected a better room with a more comfy bed and curtains that closed fully so we didn’t wake up to sunlight early in the morning.

The music on the patio, food, service and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Disabled access could be improved.

Room was spacious and bed was large and comfortable. Dinner in the outdoor area on a warm evening was very enjoyable. Good range of options for breakfast. With no air conditioning, the fan provided was not really effective for the size of the room in the hot weather for our stay. the

It was very comfortable and loved the location.

Great location in the heart of Stow. Lovely breakfast. Bar staff not friendly. I have stayed here quite a few times and the service at night is not as good as the morning service. NEEDS LOOKING AT!

We stayed for 3 nights in a "cosy" room, with no wardrobe and only two small drawers each for our belongings. The TV was near impossible because previous guests had entered their own details, presumably to watch films, and this made it impossible for us to find major channels like BBC 1, 2 and 4. Could not previous enteries have been removed before our arrival? See above.

Central location in Stow on the Wold. Food was good and nice courtyard garden. Never anyone at reception. When I found someone in the bar I was told I couldn’t check in. He seemed very unhappy and very non friendly. Not a good first point of contact. When I asked if I could leave my bags was told no and then as I was deciding what to do was told could leave near room. What I didn’t realise if they left my bags in the corridor outside my room where anyone could have taken them. Very noisy.
