A lovely hotel, slightly out of the town centre, comfortable room and very helpful friendly staff. Great breakfast, plenty to choose from. Nothing

The hotel is close to the throbbing, busy centre, but on the other side of the canal, behind a "lycee". You can already feel the "real Strasbourg" feeling, nice and calm. Our room was spacious, very quiet on this busy weekend. The staff was very friendly. My son's room was facing the other way, it felt like a romantic little hideaway. Nothing

The location, the room and the coutyard seating area Nothing

Location close to the throbbing centre, yet a "provincial France" feeling, behind a lycee, view over the Rhine canal. Nothing

The reception was the kindest. The location is perfect. The history of this hotel is great. The garage is comfy. The rooms are giant. The fridge works fine. They gave us tips about Alsace villages. Free sparkling water at the lobby. Shall I continue? :) We loved everything.

Letitia was excellent on reception. Friendly and very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room was clean and we appreciated the fridge and, although it was charged for, the mineral water inside. Bar area was disappointing stuck in a side room. Breakfast was disappointing the bacon was all stuck together and the sausages very pale. Only fresh fruit was kiwi fruit and tough slices of pineapple.

The property was in an excellent location. Close but quiet. The rooms were varied. I was in a single attic room which was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was next level. Excellent choices and beautifully presented. Facility to have a drink in the evening in a nice courtyard. Staff were really great. Friendly and very helpful. Nothing.

The location, the staff, the lovely terrace for apertivo. Also a secure bicycle parking station.

Very quiet dead end street made for a quiet night and we were just a few meters away from a bridge that took us into the old part of town. Breakfast was composed of high quality ingredients and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful Room was a wee bit small but we were just there to sleep as our day was spent exploring Strasbourg

Excellent location in a quiet part of town, within easy walking distance of all the major sites. The staff was very attentive and the rooms were spotless. While the rest of my stay was excellent, I wasn't enthusiastic about the breakfast, though it wasn't a major issue.

    Exceptional

Very friendly, helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Clean rooms. Good location. Better coffee machines elsewhere. The "café au lait" was not great. Not a great choice of fruit at breakfast.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. 1) The Hotel has very few or even no parking spots, yet they have this feature displayed on their profile. They offer a nearby parking lot as alternative with some discount but if that one is full, then they advise you another one with no discounts. It would be more honest if they would say, we do not have parking or extremely limited. Walking back- and forth from an alternative parking lot can be very convenient, especially in bad wheather. Expect 10-20EUR/day or more, due to parking costs. 2) The extractor fan was out of order in the bathroom and the bathroom window was closed shut - so it was quite inconvenient after one used the bathroom. (The room was small enough, so it was possible to air) The bathroom sink was about to get clogged, water ran down extremely slowly.

Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff who took our luggage to the room while we parked the car. Our room was fine with a king bed The private parking (extra fee) was a reason we chose this place. The breakfast buffet was quite complete with hot and cold options and the usual pastries and ample seating. A block from the river and easy strolling everywhere in the tourist or university areas of town. A variety of restaurants are nearby. I'd stay there again if I was to return to the city. They have a small lounge area with a drink menu including various teas. The room had a coffee maker with provided coffee pods and a refrigerator. The two flights of spiral stairs were scary. While they had a black strip of carpeting on each stair to indicate the edge, the carpet color of the stairs varied from medium to dark gray and were difficult to see in the muted lighting. The stair treds were not all the same size. I used the handrail all the time going up and down. Half of the hotel (one wing) is accessible by an elevator. But not our booked room! I would have never been able to bring a suitcase up or down those stairs safely, but the staff did it with confidence and that was fine with me! The pillows were like many hotel pillows- rocks. We are soft pillows people! It was better to set them aside. My husband used one of the decorator pillows the second night. The address might be Rue du Dragon, but the entrance is not on Rue du Dragon. Don't turn on Rue du Dragon when Google Maps tells you to. Go straight into what appears to be a dead end. It is, and there is a spot to park to register before driving to their nearby private gated parking lot.
