Unique, beautiful, great location, safe, clean. Awesome breakfast. Helpful host. All the other guests were very interesting and warm. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. It was a lovely place.

Gracious host. Excellent breakfast. Near the university so quite noisy at night.

Claude was a wonderful host attending to our every need. Homemade breakfast items were a treat and we enjoyed talking to the other guest.

We had a lot of luggage so going up three floors was a lot but that was our issue.

Each room was spacious with modern art deco. 3 faucets and sinks. Host was very helpful with our parking and settling. Breakfast crepes were very tasty. Center town is 15mins walk. Very good shower, but the shower floor same level as rest of the bathroom making the whole floor very wet.

What a wonderful man Claude was. Our coach to Strasbourg was delayed and didn't arrive until 1am. Claude waited for us to personally greet us at the door. We couldn't thank him enough for such a warm welcome.

We easily reached the hotel on foot. Our room was quite spacious and had everything we needed. The room, the sheets, the bathroom – everything was very clean. It was a beautiful and cozy hotel, even beyond our expectations. We loved the breakfast, especially the crepes. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. We would like to thank Claude for his wonderful hospitality.

It was lovely stay! So cozy and quiet room. Separate wardrobe space was a big benefit! The bereakfast was great in a nice home style atmothphere. Everything within walking distance. Private undeground parking is just 300m away. No compains at all! Claude (the host) was so nice and helpful! It was him who suggested us to explore wine road which became one of the most vivid experiences throughout the whole vacation.

The accomodation is like a short jump in the past, but with everything you need to feel comfortable nowadays. The room is stylishly decorated with traditional items, even an old seem-to-be-working Singer machine is inside. Bathroom modern, clean, with everything you need. Bed very comfortable, also size of our room was great. Breakfast - everything home made, again great. Landlord was extremely friendly so we kind of felt like home even though we only spent the night. Location superb - 200 m or so from old town. Also the parking garage is very close and convinient. The price, however it is true that we could not find better on such location.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Booking in was well organised and easy. They provided a map of the city. I thought the individually themed rooms while unusual were unnecessary and didn't add to my enjoyment of the hotel. Breakfast was rustic, with home-made jams but not much choice. It's in an old building a 15min walk from the centre and somehow I was left with an overall feeling I could have had a better (plainer possibly more contemporary) room elsewhere for the same money.
