Convenient location and delicious breakfast

Restaurant was very good, they gave a discount to our party of "cousins" for being overnighters. The Pecan "sticky" buns were excellent, got a second dose the next morning for breakfast (complimentary).

The rooms in the coach in are beginning to feel a little outdated and could use a face lift. But still a great place to stop for a quick overnight.

Absolutely gorgeous flowers & grounds at this really nice historical inn. Best place in the area to stay. The restaurant is really good too, Going here again in October.

Very historic and nice hotel in a beautiful area

The original buildings and surrounding properties were beautiful and a delight, but we were wedding guests given rooms in the motor lodge. Though clean, and had all the expected amenities, it was musty smelling and showed it’s age. It was an ok place to stay but difficult to walk from there because of steep hills and distance, a car was necessary if physically challenged. The hotel staff and amenities there were extremely helpful, and a delight.

The staff made good recommendations to me for my room, and for dinner. I enjoyed the stay very much, and booked a service at the spa. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful! The grounds are breathtaking.

The grounds were beautiful and I loved the historical elements. My room was nice, the rug was dirty and the heat was not working. I turned up the thermostat but it continued to blink. I called the 24 hour front desk numerous times but no one answered until 6 am , at which time I was so cold , I went for a drive in my car to warm up. There were no extra blankets in the room and no one could be reached to request one. The tavern was nice and bartender was friendly. I was very disappointed in my stay.

Not a big deal..the batteries in the TV remote needed to be changed. Notified front desk but never heard back

My wife and I liked both the cleanliness inside and out. We also really noticed how well the grounds were kept outside. The bushes, flowers and lawns were impressive to look at and really enhanced the property. The staff from check-in to dinner at the downstairs restaurant were all very pleasant. And the food was excellent as well. We will definitely be back for another stay.

We stayed at the motor lodge and it was quaint and whimsically adorned with toile wallpaper I enjoyed the shoppes and especially Sadie’s Curiosity Shoppe. If I am ever back in the area we will stay here again.

We stayed at the Country Motor Lodge for two nights for a family wedding. The grounds were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We had an issue with the shower. There were dramatic fluctuations with the water temperature and pressure. The food served at all the events was good.

Only needed a night, was a great stay.
