Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Messe & Congress

Large comfy room (junior suite). Restaurant. Available parking lot in house. Small but annoying things... They made the bed every day, but didn't take out the garbage. The shower head is tricky, it doesn't let you set it to the direction you want. You set it to a specific direction, and it starts moving to a different one on its own.

Location was perfect right next to the congress. The restaurant in the hotel was very good, but also very busy, so difficult to get a seat without reservation.

Nothing really When I arrived, I was on M level. I've been told to go around to the parking garage. I pressed on the ticket dispenser, but no ticket came out. I went back to the service desk and told them my problem. I then was advised, according to some men on the desk, since their parking house is full, I should go across those very wide street to the other MÖVENPICK and park there, which meant, had to lug in my luggage across the street to co e back to my room. Only after I told them I'm 81 years old did they let me park on the M level. I was able to manage that. In short, I never had an experience like that before, and I visited over 30 countries and stayed in hotels all levels. My conclusion is, that Mövenpick Management, in Stuttgart at least, are most arrogant. The Visitors staying at the hotel were more thoughtful. THEN: I tried to make coffee, there was only 2 DECAF and tea, no regular coffee. Tried to pluck in the kettle, the cable was too short, had to bring it to the Desk and pluck it in, or bend down to the floor. Water leaked from the kettle, which put a puddle on the desk. Luckily, there were enough towels to soak up the large puddle. When I took a shower, it took me a while to figure out how to get out some soap from the bottle. A sign saying SQUEEZE would have Helped. In the shower there were 3 bottles, 1 of them had only one squeeze left, another one, shampoo with conditioner was totally empty. Luckily the first bottle I tried out was not empty, otherwise I would still try to find out how it works. I didn't bring my shampoo, because because I only stayed for one night, because my flight back to Canada left early next morning from Stuttgart. That's why I chose a high end hotel. Would I choose Möwenpick again, maybe in another country or city? NOWAY! Wakeup call for 5am came 5:08am

Rooms are too small and uncomfortable. Reception staff are really unhelpful.

I stayed New Years Eve with my dog due to her anxiety from firework bursts. The staff were OUTSTANDING from check in to check out. They were beyond accommodating every time I had a question or concern. The rooms were absolutely soundproof, comfortable and perfect for the reason we stayed. The tv streaming connection from personal mobile device to the tv didn’t work. Also, strangely, there was not a coffee machine in my room. In the pictures online I saw Nespresso machines but there wasn’t one in the two rooms that I was in. Also, parking. I found it to be quite expensive.

Loved everything, So happy I chose this hotel. I had an early flight, and the earliest train didn't fit my schedule. So the location of this hotel was very helpful for me as it is only a couple of minutes' walk to the airport. The U Bahn is right outside the hotel. The S-Bahn is at the airport. Both of them provide very easy, direct access to the town. So this is really an excellent place for people with early flights who want to see the city for a few hours. My room was big. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. You can request a to-go coffee. They packed me lunch food on the day of my flight, gave me free coffee, and drinks from the bar for my breakfast, making sure I ate something before leaving the hotel. The staff were very accommodating. The facilities were excellent. The cleaning staff were also kind when I asked them for water and slippers. I used the wellness area, which only contains the gym, steam room, and sauna. I wish they could add a jacuzzi there. Tip: hang the card that says you allow to skip a cleaning day of your room for free drinks at the bar! There is nothing I did not like. There was a review saying they didn't provide a hair dryer, so I brought mine. I wish I hadn't because they do provide one. I could've done more shopping, but the hair dryer took up space in my luggage!

Need better directions for driving to the entrance

Location to the airport was perfect for an early morning flight.

Had an opportunity to sit at the restaurant, sat outside and enjoyed the evening dinner while relaxing after a long flight. Staff was incredible!

Very close to airport. Was able to drop off rental car the night before, walk to hotel, and then the next morning walk to the airport. Super convenient and really nice hotel.

The washroom drainage system was inadequate.
