The promo price, the spacious room, good surroundings & ambience, courteous & helpful staff. The swimming pool looked like it was not maintained regularly, resulting in somewhat murky water.

The hotel staff is highly accommodating and exudes a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The pricing is affordable, and the hotel’s location in the city center provides convenient access to shopping malls, dining establishments, recreational facilities, and other amenities. Breakfast offers a diverse selection of dishes, encompassing both Indonesian and Western cuisines. Notably, the hotel prioritizes environmental sustainability. There are a few areas that could benefit from refurbishment. The building appears somewhat dated, and certain room fixtures, such as the faucet and showerhead, may require attention.

Good location, central and several malls nearby. Chose this hotel for the location and the advertised services. The reception staff is nice, but their communication is lacking (especially English). The cleaning staff was rude on several times and doesn't do their job: upon arrival hairs in the tub from previous guests, several times room not properly cleaned and they destroyed my property (phone cable, which was replaced by management). The internet is horrible : 1Mbit/s at best. After complaining we got access to the "VIP" network, which is 3Mbit/s at best, but with really bad coverage. Rooms need serious refurbishing, as they are old. AC is also old and noisy. Needs soundproofing as well: i could hear when my neighbors had "visitors" and the inside cafe echoes like a pool with screaming kids. In the hallway every day at 10 am and pm there is the national anthem played loudly, so that i can hear it in my room. There is no water supplied in the room, there is only one water dispenser in the hall for everyone, so most of the times empty. The pool and fitness room are in another building and seem to be semipublic. So to sum it up: good location (lots of facilities nearby and central in Surabaya) , okay staff. Rest of the stuff: 3 stars at best and WAY overpriced for a business suite.

Breakfast was pretty good. It was very busy because of the holidays, so some items ran out very quickly. Flooring in bedroom was in bad state, needs replacing.But to be fair for the price of the suite and including buffet breakfast we think it was very good value.
