Rooms were so cute, bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was close by. Price was amazing. Would definitely stay again. The step going into the bathroom 5. Tripped over at least twice
-
The service, the space of the room, the high ceilings and the location is amazing. N/A

For a long stay, the shared bath would be an issue.

Property is in a fantastic location with restaurants, bakeries, and other businesses which cater to travelers. The property itself was clean and well kept. The room we booked was a bit small and it was on the third floor. There is no elevator in the building so we had to bring our luggage up the steps. That being said, if you are traveling lite, it wouldn’t be an issue.

The location is one of the biggest highlights. Nestled in the heart of Potts Point, the hotel is surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and shops, with easy access to public transport. It’s only a short walk to the city centre and iconic spots like Sydney Opera House and Royal Botanic Garden, making it perfect for both leisure and business travellers. The hotel itself has a clean, modern, and minimalistic design. Rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, with comfortable beds and everything needed for a convenient stay. Shared bathroom facilities are well-maintained and spotless, which makes up for the smaller room size. What stood out most was the atmosphere—quiet, relaxed, and very welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. Overall, The Jensen is excellent value for money, especially considering its prime location in one of Sydney’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. It’s an ideal option for solo travellers or couples looking for a simple, stylish, and well-located place to stay without breaking the bank.

In a good location close to public transport and short walk from Harbour. The gentleman at the front open enter was very sweet. The bathrooms were never cleaned properly. Often paper towels and toilet paper were topped up but the toilet was only cleaned twice while there. Obviously mess is caused by other tenants but shared facilities should have extra care in cleaning. The fire alarm also went off twice during our stay and when it went off at night there was no one to contact and we were outside for 30 minutes waiting for the fire brigade over a false alarm.

location is really good. rooms were beyond tiny, and beds so uncomfortable it was shocking. staff doesn't take care of guests luggage and leaves them just stranded while going on errands. for the price here you can get a queen room in surry hills, which i would do easily instead of coming back

Location was great, easy to catch a bus and/train to CBD and tourist attractions. Comfy bed. Shared bathroom was disgusting, we understand it is shared but other guests would leave underwear, bloody snot (see photo), and trash in the shower etc. When I brought up the bloody snot to guest services he said “just use the other bathrooms” so I then asked if he could clean it and he said “house keeping will be here in a couple hours”. Later that same day, once rooms were cleaned, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom (not to even restock myself), and the there was no more soap in the shower after. Lead me to believe that the bathrooms were rarely fully cleaned. Not to mention that when we checked into our room, they didn’t provide us with towels, so we had to find towels ourselves as there was no staff around. Our room did have an AC unit, but it made extremely loud rattling noise consistently while running. Loud enough that we weren’t able to sleep. Upon check out, myself and my partner were walking down the stairs with full arms of luggage, and the house keeper made eye contact with us, and decided to push past us on the narrow stairwell with no manners or even acknowledging us, or waiting for us to come down the last 3 stairs… We ended up having to book one extra night in Sydney and there was no way we were spending another night @ Jensen. We booked Bayswater Boutique (for cheaper price) and it has working AC, slick easy check in, clean bathroom, multiple towels in the room, a little kitchenette, snacks and drinks in room for purchase, extra blankets as needed and in same area in Potts Point.

Location, facilities They have tini tyny rooms on the first floor without the windows. I upgraded to second floor and sleep like a king

Nice clean environment with shared bathroom. Big balcony space. Shared bathroom is a bit not convenient.
-
The bedroom had no windows! Shared bathroom, which leads to a hostel experience.

A reasonable (by Sydney standards) price for a clean room in a great location Staff is only on site from 8 am to 3 pm. That became a problem when my toilet clogged. Also, the consequences of locking yourself out of your room could be pretty severe.

Easy to get to via trains. Plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. It was a nice bonus to explore the farmers market in the park on the weekend. Rooms were a little smaller than I'd expected. Narrow stairs and corridors.
-
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with windows that you can open. The bathroom on the top floor has plenty of natural lighting. The staircase to the top level is very narrow.

I never received the “check in instructions” I was promised. Management was well aware and acknowledged my late arrival request.
