We appreciated the 2 free drinks in the Marble Bar downstairs. The bed was very comfortable and executive lounge was nice. We were disappointed that there was no champagne, chocolates or strawberries in the room when we arrived, as we were celebrating a very special occasion - our "50th Golden Wedding Anniversary". We have not been reimbursed with our credit card incidentals of $120.00, as we didn't buy anything from the Mini Bar or the Glass Restaurant.

The location, services and staff were great. Very central and easy access to the inner city The only slight downside was a little erraticism around housekeeping. We didn’t use the Do Not Disturb light while we were asleep (have never done this as it’s not normally necessary) but were woken with a door knock at 7.30 in the morning to ask if they could make up the room. This seemed very early.

The location is nice and central and the staff excellent I was disappointed with the pool and gym which was a commercial gym open to the public. It lacked cardio equipment including treadmills and the pool was occupied by people training. Also, the bathroom light switches are located on a panel away from the bathroom so difficult to find with the lights out in the middle of the night.

The room was great and loved the location, the checkin staff were friendly We tried to get a bucket of ice delivered to the room and used the online ordering system, I received a confirmation email but it never turned up, tried to call the front desk with the in-house phone system but it was continuously busy and gave up after being on hold for 5 or more minutes. Then after the first night we got back to the room after a day out and found at 4:00pm the room wasn’t made up, we tried calling but same problem the phone system Is always busy and can never get through, went downstairs and let them know and they apologised and let us know they would send someone up in about an hour or so. We left the room and came back about 3 hours later and it still wasn’t done, went down stairs and again asked them to get the room made up as we were going out for a show and they did eventually get someone to clean the room. Next night we wanted to use the spa bath and wanted additional towels as we only had 2 towels and wanted clean ones for the next morning if we were going to use the spa, and also wanted the long lost ice bucket for some wine we had. Tried the phone system again but it’s useless so went downstairs and they front desk said they would arrange it whilst we went to the executive lounge which was part of our booking and was great. After an hour still no ice bucket and no towels. Went down to the front desk again and they promised ice bucket and towels were on their way. To their credit we had an ice bucket in 10 mins and then we had housekeeping deliver to us 6 towels, two bath mats, three hand towels, and two washers (not sure if someone was just trying to take the piss by delivering us a mammoth amount of towels to shut us up ♂️) but at least we had what we needed.
