All our dorms prioritize your comfort with privacy screens on every bed and individual power points and a light to keep your devices charged after a great day out exploring Sydney. All rooms have clean, shared bathroom facilities, and fresh linen is always provided. Important Info for Your Stay: - Reception hours are 8 am - 8 pm. If you're checking in after these hours, please give us a call beforehand. - Check-out is before 10 am and check-in is after 2 pm. - We are a strictly 18+ property. While all adults are welcome, dorm rooms are recommended for guests aged 18 to 35. - A valid passport or international passport is needed for check-in - Your card will be charged 1 day prior to your arrival. Just minutes away from the train station, shops and loads of cafes. Rooms and common areas cleaned daily and free dinner every night included in your stay! Super social hostel making it easy to make new friends

Absolutely love this hostel, anytime I'm staying in Sydney I always keep coming back. The staff are so friendly, they provide you with enough to keep entertained such as their daily events, TV and games available. The free dinner every night is definitely one of my highlights of staying here as it removes the stress of needing to figure out what to feed myself. And they just got air-conditioners fitted to the rooms which is new and will definitely be helpful in summer months coming up for anyone staying. Hardly a complaint, but worth mentioning so new arrivals don't get lost. The big vintage sign at the top of the building still says 'Jolly Swagman Backpackers'. While it gives the place a fun nostalgic look, it can throw you off when navigating your way here. Just look for the Mad Monkey Potts Point signage down at eye level by the entrance (there's a few different Mad Monkeys so make sure your art the right one) and once you're inside, everything is top tier!

Great position, staff was nice. There isn’t a laundry in the hostel, so you have to go out, and the cleanliness was lacking pretty much everywhere.

The staff were really nice! They make free dinner every day, and they are so good. The events they host are also so fun and social.

The staff were so nice and friendly when I arrived and throughout my stay and made me feel very welcome. Having a free dinner every night is a massive benefit to staying. The nightly events are really fun and a great way to meet people. They give you lots of free alcohol too before nights out. The room had everything I needed and all the common area spaces and bathrooms were clean. I can’t wait to come back again in the future!
