I like the soft bed, pillows and new towels. My room at room 201 was comfortable, I had a good sleep. It wasn't as noisy as what others mentioned in their reviews you can hear the music downstairs from the ground floor but it wasn't that loud. The room was clean, smelled lovely hint of rose not overpowering smell. The large round mirror crystal clean, I didn't feel any smudge of dust on the balustrade or the tables. Lighting was good too. The hotel provided toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash, bar soap, hair cap & nail file), enough towels, toilet bowl looks clean, provode enough toilet paper. There was no coffee cup or glass in the room. But I brought my own ceramic mug so I was able to drink water and made my coffee. There was no spoon or stirrer if you'd like to make coffee but I guess that's because they have a coffee machine with coffee pods, cup is the only thing missing. But I think you can just request this from the staff downstairs. The hot water tap worked 4 mins and 30 seconds after I turned it on so you'll have to be patient and wait for the hit water to kick in in the shower room.

It's a funky place with an old vintage style elevator that takes you through the resto and bar up to the rooms on the top 2 floors. Fun for young people or if you're a solo traveller looking to meet folks. When we arrived, the door was locked and we had to get the bartender to let us in. The check-in process was confusing and I didn't love that there wasn't a dedicated staff at the front desk at all times. It's also pretty loud due to the resto and bar in the building.

The room was decorated interestingly. The claw bath looked great. Hot water took a long time to reach the shower. The room faced the road and the traffic noise and sirens really made for a very poor sleep. The lift is tiny and had big delays.

Location and staff Very poor plumbing in building. If you are on level 3, you cannot get hot water if any lower levels decide to shower.
