This was an old place and we were bit shocked initially. But it was right in centre of everything. We enjoyed this location for sure. Beds were comfortable. Very old amenities.

Location A little tired

Location was fabulous - we were right on the waterfront and we walked out the doors to markets which were great to poke around. The breakfast was great - lots of choices. Our room looks out onto some laneways that were decorated for "Christmas in July" - very cheerful. We arrived early off our flight & expected to just leave our bags and go exploring but were able to check straight in which was really good. Parts of the hotel are rather tired - carpets & wall coverings & could do with a freshen up.

Passable

Close to OPT That they hold $50 deposit for a month. Bank confirmed they could release it with there authorisation via a email but we shouldn’t have to do that. It should be put straight back in our account after departure if everything was found ok.

Close to cruise terminal Room a little musky but is in the process of renovating

The location was perfect for exploring the rocks and circular quay. The view from our room and the rooftop were exceptional. The beds were too soft to have a comfortable sleep. The carpets need replacing and rooms need a refresh.

The roof top access to that astonishing 360 degree view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and the Harbour skyscrapers. Even more awesome at time. The huge atrium lobby, restaurant/bar and fantastic breakfast. Rooms are a little too small and dated. Those facing the road can be noisy at times though totally quiet for most of the night. No attention to making sure that the secondary glazing is totally sealed around the window casement and frame.
