Clean, updated, location & deserves it’s rate.

Staff are very nice. Rooms and Parking are excellent too. Very good experience overall

The front desk staff is about as helpful as asking a leper for skin care advise. Rude, non helpful, lackadaisical in their duties and never at the front desk. Best Western doesn’t honor its point system of you book through Expedia or any other third party, so rather than see it as “thank you patron for giving us business in an economically down turned economy” they took the approach of “you didn’t give us enough of your money so we are going to F you just a little bit to let you know that we really don’t care about you”.

Front Desk Hindia is a psycho B from hell. She is rude, cruel and likes to remind everybody she comes straight from the hood. Terrible hotel and staff. Do NOT stay here.

Nicest Beat Western I’ve ever stayed at. Tacoma in general can be sketchy, and I’ve stayed at some decent hotels but the area was too sketchy. This hotel, the area is downtown Tacoma, many homeless in the area. But the locked gated parking garages were really nice, no worries about broken windows. Room was really clean. Would definitely stay again!

Toilet didn't work well

We chose this pitucular hotel because of location to the Tacoma Dome and price. The room was clean and very basic and met our needs to sleep and attend an event at the Dome (we walked to the Dome across the parking lot). The breakfast was your typical buffet, it was OK. There is no other food except a vending machine offered. The area is kind of sketchy and I advise caution if you venture out on foot. They do offer free parking in a secured garage. I knocked off a star for putting us into a room with a queen bed when I reserved a king, we didn't complain because we didn't care to move and the bed was comfortable. To sum up, great place to attend Tacoma Dome events.

When arrived told us no air conditioning. Said could bring a fan. Parents room the window wouldn’t open they said would send someone. They never showed up. Only one elevator working. So long waits. Poorly managed.

Bathroom is small, but acceptable for this one-night unplanned stay.

Upon checking in we were told that the AC was not working but we would be able to open the window and could have a fan for the room. We had already paid for our room so we continued with the booking. We get up to our room and the window are screwed shut. We call and maintained comes and opens it for us to quickly realize that we are right next to a train which is unbearably loud. It was too hot in the room even with the fan and window open for us. Staff was really nice and never showed frustration with helping us, but it really affected our sleep not to have working air. Staff allowed us to move rooms away from the train which helped a bit, but overall I would not stay again.

Everything was good, just could

This place is in a little bit of a sketchy area, but the garage is severe because it has a key card entry and covered underground. Staff was okay, the young lady working when I checked in was a little aloof but fine. The biggest issue was the AC was broken all night so she said they’ll let us know when fixed which of course they didn’t and it was hot all night but I couldn’t do anything since I had nowhere else to go last minute. The window had to be open all night which had invited all bugs and whatever else into the room since so I had bug bites or something on my back. I will definitely not come back here and I will not recommend this to anyone. It was a terrible experience unfortunately and also the elevator was horrendous. It stops at every level even if nobody is waiting on that level. There should be 2 elevators but one of them was completely out of commission.
