Great hotel! Friendly staff. Great for the price.

The A/C was not working properly in our room. We turned in on when we checked in and it did not cool the room until early in the morning. It's probably because the gaps on the door were so noticeable, I had a hard time sleeping soundly because I can see the light through the cracks. My husband went down to the reception and asked about the A/C and was told the thermostat is on the wall, The receptionist didn't specify which thermostat on which wall; there were two of them. He tried adjusting the one on the wall by the bathroom, but that didn't do anything. So, we figured it was probably the one on the unit itself. We had the thermostat on cool and high, but it was still pretty warm as if the heater was on 72 or something. We've stayed at this hotel about 4 or 5 times ... every time we go to Tacoma. Each time, there was an issue, but because of how close it is to the people we are visiting, we kept coming back. However, I think this will be our last stay at this hotel.

The bathroom had a very strong odor. My suggestion was to wash or replace shower curtain and bleach the tub!

They were understaffed. Breakfast was good but was the same every day.

The room nice. What I didn't like was the extra supposed to be refundable $100.00. They ask for when you check . I extended my stay 1 day and they asked ag again. I paid. That room was left as it was except for dirty towels and new bed sheets. If I am not refunded two hundred dollars ASAP. I will ask the bank for my money back.

Me and the wife enjoyed how comfortable the bed was and the fact that it had a pool super plus for us we will definitely be going to stay again maybe on a lower floor so we won’t be as hot lol

Front desk & housekeeping staff were helpful & very friendly. Breakfast was simple and was convenient for a quick bite.

It was ok but there was hair on the floor by the bed so very clean

My check-in time, according to my booking, began at 3:00pm. I arrived at 4:24pm to check-in and was told that my room was not ready yet. The staff appeared upset that I asked why my room was not ready when it was well into my check-in window. I was told that they were fully booked for the night, which would lead me to think they should have planned accordingly to have rooms ready by their 3pm check-in time. When I was finally checked into my room, I found that it had not been thoroughly cleaned. I found hair from a previous guest in the bathroom, and an empty potato chip bag on the floor. The staff appeared overwhelmed and unprepared for a fully booked night. I hope that they learned from this experience, and will work to prepare more efficiently in the future for fully booked nights. They needed to have more staff on shift to help lighten the burden on their housekeeping staff. This situation felt completely preventable with appropriate planning ahead of time by management.

Service was excellent for all. The only change I would recommend would be handheld showerheads.
