Location was excellent and close to main train station. Room was large and clean. Room a bit hot and turning air conditioner down did not make a difference

Excellent location near the train station, easy to locate. Rooms were also generally comfortable. It had cable TV which was a great plus. Bathroom was a little small but not a major issue

Excellent location in a quiet street à mère 5min walk from the railway station. Nothing important stands out. But there were some rather minor design flaws in the bedroom. For instance, the blanket was narrower than the bed. The electric switches to control the light were a bit far from the bed.

Location: 5 min walk from Taichung train station. Right opposite to the eye clinic and the Green Stream Value: very cheap and further room upgrade. Room: large room; the bed is comfortable. It is huge can easily accommodate 3 persons. Despite it is a old hotel, it is very clean Breakfast area: quiet; reasonable varieties Staff: very polite with helpful information Nothing

We chose this location because of Miyahara which is right in front. Rooms were clean and comfortable! Super affordable price. Bathroom was a bit dated, could use a refresh.

The Hotel is located right across the famous Miyahara ice cream and the Taichung station is minutes away. Laundry facilities on the basement floor next to the gym. (Has English instructions) and front desk sells detergent if needed. I had a nice city view overlooking the area, and the rooms were fairly large, with a sofa chair next to the bed. Keep in mind there were no other chairs and a small desk next to the window with a cushion seat (like a Japanese tea table) which served as my desk. I also appreciate that the staff wrote me a card and provided me with a snack bag for my birthday. No other hotel has ever done that for me and I appreciate the small act of kindness! They also spoke English fairly well. Could not get an early check-in time. Bathroom layout is awkward. It’s separated by a glass door from the main room and the shower and toilet (with a bidet) are on opposite corners like an “N” shape. Although next to Taichung station, I had to uber from the High speed rail station to get to the hotel and there is quite a bit of traffic going and coming to the hotel. The elevator to get the the laundry room/Gym is reserved for staff only. Must go to the 1st floor then take stairs.

Laundry machine, really clean, comfy bed, really exceptionally kind staff! Also right next to the Miyahara It was perfect, although right outside of the property the street smelt bad but that’s a lot of streets were like that.

Convenient location to Mihayara but not much eatery nearby hotels. About 15mins walk to other busy shopping areas in Zhong Yi shopping area. Given us rooms at higher and nearby to each other. We got free upgraded to bigger room, maybe due to lack of low period. Breakfast was very miserable for TWD220 each pax, less than 5 mains, cold buns and beehoon (maybe because it was only 6.30am, not enough time to heatup). A few breads. Total only 5 tables are filled. Day 2 we went there, shocked to find we are the only table taking breakfast at 7+! It showed very clearly how poor their breakfast selection that literally drive people away.
