The breakfast was great just enough to get you started for the day excpsially when its 30c outside. Location was close to the park, the street by the hotel has shopping, food vendors, transportation. Some of the staff at the front desk could have some better matters on helping with customers other then looking the other way. A good morning is polite giving directions to new customers to the city, attractions would maybe by nice. When it was time to check in the room the room was more than 30c and the air wasn't on the window open and sun beaten threw. Not good.

Very satisfied with the location (walkable distance to Taichung Station), and pleased with very personable and accommodating staff. There are several local eateries just (walkable) minutes away from the hotel. The hotel provided free excellent breakfast and the tea/refreshments were great. The room was large and had more than enough space for our party of three AND luggage placements. Highly recommend for ease and convenience!

Staff are nice, Lobby is nice and nice breakfast Poor soundproofing wall and you can hear anything from the hallway and the rooms next that we couldn’t sleep well. Room is very small. It’s not clean, Furniture is outdated and room needs a face lift.

The door of the bathroom is open. The refresh is dirty and it's smells like old food. The breakfast everyday is same. And all Chinese foods. No problem to if Chinese foods but the problem is the give plain congee and vegetables do you think that's match? The coffee machine is so dirty inside. Before you use it make use everything you clean it. The body soap and shampoo bottle is empty they never change it. I call at night they said they going to replace it. But till morning no whan will replace it. I'm the one who go to lobby and take the body soap and shampoo. Very very bad experience. ? ???

Great stay in Initial. Interesting pub and beers at the lobby. Location is ok, we stayed just for a night but the neighborhood is very interesting with a lot of typical restaurant from south east Asia. Chinese breakfast good.

Breakfast was served in a Chinese-style box, but the food had no taste at all—even locals wouldn’t eat it. We ended up going to the Starbucks on the next corner. Additionally, no coffee was provided in the lobby during breakfast, and there were only two coffee pods for three people in the room. The room was quite small, and there were many hairs from previous guests. There was no nightstand. The phone was lying on the floor. The tap was too small, and the water pressure had to be turned to maximum to avoid flooding the bathroom. For the price paid, one would expect more.

Location was convenient to Gancheng bus station. 10 minute walk to train station. Plenty of food options within walking distance. Room was small, no windows, poor soundproofing. Bento breakfast was tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It served its purpose for 1 night.
